Beware - Wagering Requirement at 1Casino

Just wanted to give you guys a head's up on this.

Well... I did start a thread complaining about not getting the bonus from 1Casino. In the end, they gave it to me.

Now, I have another problem with them. It seems that even if you bust out and your balance is at 0.00 (losing everything), you will still need to fulfill their Wagering Requirements even on future deposits.

I wrote an email to them asking why is the Wagering Requirements still on my promo page and this is what they answered me.

    =====================================
    ......

Having checked your account, I can confirm that you have an 2 outstanding bonuses of EUR50 and EUR25.

To release the EUR50 Special Welcome bonus you are required to wager a total of EUR2,500. Our records indicate that to date your have wagered a total of EUR8.78 and although you have lost everything you still need to wager another EUR2,491,22.

It is necessary to check if you have any outstanding bonuses before applying for a new bonus, therefore all the wagering will first go to the previous outstanding bonus (Welcome Bonus) and only once that is fulfilled, the wagering will start going to your new Goodwill bonus of EUR25 for informing us of the technical fault.

The total you are required to wager for the EUR25 Goodwill Bonus is EUR625. Our records indicate that to date your have wagered a total of EUR0 and need to wager EUR625.

    ....
    ===================================

Wow... This is really the rare times where even if you bust out, you still need to fulfill their Wagering Requirements before you could cash out again.

1Casino, you have just lost me as your player and I'm sure since I'm posting this, you have lost quite a few more people in this forum as well.
You win some, you lose some... nobody can win it all.

From my understanding here, you FIRST need to wager and then your Bonus is released. Is this not similar to the way some WagerWorks outfits operate?

Those are called "after wager bonuses", and you're right, they utterly suck.
You'll hardly find those anymore. (which is a good thing imo)

You cannot use the bonusmoney itself to clear the WR, so if you go bust in no time on your deposit, the WR carries over to your next deposit and a 100% match may turn out to be a measily 30% in the end.

I try to avoid them as much as possible.

    Just to avoid confusion...

I have already gotten the bonus. Both the deposit bonus and the whatever bonus they gave me is already in my account and has already been played and I have lost it all.

My account currently has 0.00 left. No more money or whatsoever.

However, since I already bust out and with playing only EUR 8.XX, I have to wager at least another EUR 3XXX.XX to fulfill their Wagering requirement. That said, what the email meant is that even if I deposit another EUR 100 without getting a BONUS or anything, I still need to play at least EUR 3XXX.XX in order for me to be able to withdraw the funds.

I could no longer deposit, play a little and maybe double my money and decide to cashout. The wagering requirement is now being carried over to my next deposits and I have to be able to finish them before any withdrawal could be made.

Well... what I could tell you guys is that if you deposit EUR 50 and if the bonus is given to you and you could not finish the WR and bust out early (bad run), you will still need to fulfill your WR in your future deposits before you could even think of cashing out.

1Casino, you have just lost me as your player. With this rule, I will NEVER deposit again in your casino as I currently have to play at least EUR 3XXX.XX worth of slots play before I could even think of cashing out.

This is totally stupid and CRAZY!!! How could you ever carry forward your WR even if someone lost everything they have already? So if I take another Bonus of lets say EUR 100 (deposit) + EUR 100 (bonus), thus I would at least have to play another EUR 10,000 worth of slots even if the slots were bad to me and I lost it all within 30 minutes and the wagers there is only about EUR 500.

If the scenario above were to happen, then I'd have to think of clearing at least EUR 10k before I could even cashout the deposit after that.

That is totally STUPID and very very crazy to think that WR's are carried over. I'll NEVER play at your casino again!

For those of you who are reading this, please think 1,000,000 times before depositing in that casino. Beware... the warning has already been given to you guys.
You win some, you lose some... nobody can win it all.

AFAIK bonuses still work this way at Intercasino, but the wagering requirements drop off after 3 months there.

Thought they said you get the bonus AFTER you cleared the WR?

If you already lost the bonus your WR should ofcourse be put at ZERO for your next deposit.

btw, how did you manage to go bust and only wager 8.78 on a 50.- deposit?

And if the WR on previous, uncleared bonuses indeed carries over to the next deposit this is rather stupid from the casino's side.
Like you say, me too would never make another deposit ever again, not for the life of me.

Just what I was about to say!
This rule is clearly designed to stop "advantage players" just taking a bonus, going for the big double-up, and if they lose, just try again the next month.
I don't know this new casino - but if it's anything like Intercasino there will be no rules to stop players placing very large bets with their bonus in play.

This thread just goes to show once again - ALWAYS read all the rules BEFORE you take a bonus!

aodat2 i am somewhat curious. Did you read all the T&C's before signing up and if you did, is there any mention that any unfulfilled WR would be carried over?

About 6m ago the rules changed so that the Wr no longer carries over.

Imo we should let the casino have a chance to look at this before we start throwing warnings about and going off the deep end. After all the OP isn't out of pocket or anything or had cashins denied etc.

I'm not losing money or something but by the way the people responds I do not feel that it is right to actually bring WR forward. I'm just feeling that the casino is not really wanting our business at all.

Not everyone who takes a bonus will be able to finish it's WR. I like playing BJ and if possible a Multi-Player BJ. So that's how I managed to get it to EUR8.78. Because BJ only contribute about 5% of the WR. I did manage to play some on the Slots as well but well... didn't do too well and busted out very fast.

Just so that everyone who reads this knows... I DID read the bonus terms. It's located at http://www.1casino.com/bonus-rules

Please do read it yourself as I have read it over 5 times (or more) and have never seen it written anywhere at all that the WR will be carried forward or anything at all that even slightly resembles it.
