    Best Casino Exit (Closure)

I've seen a lot of casinos come and go though the years and I'm very sure a lot of you guys who are reading this have seen it too. Most of the time, the casino will just directly go into liquidation, sometimes they will cheat you one last time before they close or etc.

But what I'm really wanting to know is if you guys know which casino really came and exited the market in a way that everyone can be proud of? I personally have seen a few coming and going in really really good style and in a very very clean manner. They are the ones which I really respect and really miss having around.

So here's a list of the GREAT casinos which came and went off in style.

    1. Global Player (I really miss them... they are really a class on their own)
    2. Lasseters Casino/AusVegas
    3. Buzzluck

I'm sure there are others but these are the only ones I know which really went out with style and if they ever come back, I'm definitely backing them 100%. No stupid talk, no closing down immediately, no taking money from their customers without paying back and most importantly, no tricks.

Are there others which you guys know? The ones that really left a memory in the industry when they exit the market. Do list them down.
You win some, you lose some... nobody can win it all.

The one I miss is Casino Action. They were brought down through gross incompetence by their new owners after being sold on to TUSK. Their first mistake was to get rid of most of the top staff, which lead to complete stagnation of the brand. Next, the UIGEA came along, and this lost them many of their players. This was easy to see because the regular tournaments showed a players' flag, as well as first name & initial.

Their closure was sudden, the first hint of anything wrong was the suspension of their eCogra seals, and two weeks later the owners announced they were placing the company into liquidation. They were paying right up until that point. I withdrew my final £200 that Wednesday morning (Neteller instant payment, thank goodness), and that same afternoon they had shut down completely.

Whilst casino players were OK, Casino Rewards taking on the brands AND player balances, poker players were less fortunate, and NEVER saw their money again.

If the brand were run by COMPETENT people, they would have survived until this day, and I would STILL have given them the majority of my "action" as before.

They were pretty unique, inviting me for a FREE trip to Vegas just for being a top flight VIP. This was the last action of the COMPETENT team, and they said there were good things to come. This all ended when new owners took over.

The only one I remember was Buzzluck. It was a classy exit, they didnt try to squeeze out the last cent possible as some have done lately.

But it was already on your list. Hopefully there were others.

Not directly gross incompetence. Buying "services" at a high price from another company that the owners managed is not incompetence, its a scam.

The scam continued with the liquidators who refused to talk to the owners of RedNines and Battlefield as they had negotiated a deal with Cake to take over the playerbase along with liabilities to them. Of course that would have basically left the liquidators without a job and money. Very shady. Edit: sorry for the derail

I agree with Buzzluck, there were some good people there and I was sorry and surprised to see them fold.
The real shame was that they chose RTG as their software provider at a time RTG were falling from grace (If they ever had any)

I vote for AusVegas - I played there quite a bit before they went away.

There are a few others which "went out gracefully", but it's the bad ones which stick in my memory.
Fortunately I don't think I've ever lost any of my funds as a player, but I certainly have as an affiliate - and Lasseters was the worst culprit!
They went down owing me $245, just a bit more than Better Casino's $235.
All these others disappeared owing lesser amounts: Casino Cubed, Red Lounge, Kiwi & Bingo Las Vegas.

I had a few really nice withdrawals from Intertops Green. When they switched to Royal Joker, I had some good playtimes and nice withdrawals from them also. When I was moved to All Slots USA, everything started to go down the tubes. Favorite games were gone and playtimes were almost nonexistent. I have to say, Intertops Green/Royal Joker support was always informative and polite (even when I wasn't), and fast with replies.

Of the casinos mentioned, Buzzluck was the only one I played at.

And I read it here first, it was not long before closure I got an email from them.

When Rival left the Canadian Market, Slotocash gave me ample notice. Some others gave me some notice, I'm still waiting to hear from a a couple, and there is at least one I get biweekly (useless) offers from.
