    Wild Jack?

I seem to recall something about them no longer being part of the Jackpot Factory group...? Does anyone know anything about them - are they affiliated with anyone else? Are they ok to play at now?

yes, they left the Jackpot Factory group about two months ago and they seem to be independent now. I played there recently, I received their welcome bonus and I won a nice little amount on it. the withdrawal was hassle free so I can recommend them. If I remember it correctly they have a max bet rule of 5% when you play with a bonus and the software caps the bets so that the player cannot breach the max bet rule. It is fair that they do this unlike some mg casinos that dont cap the bet sizes and that confiscate the winnings of players who breach the max bet rule.

That is a very low cap, and they would end up confiscating a good deal of winnings if the software didn't cap the bets.

What about all these other MGS casinos that still claim there is no way to enforce the max bet rule using the software, so still end up confiscating winnings from a small number of players who get caught out.

This DOES need to be addressed, since if MGS have now made this function available to all operators, it should be USED by all operators as a simple tool to assist players, just as autoplay is a simple tool to assist players to lose money even faster, as too is the new tabbed gaming lobby where you can lose on 5 games at once, and only actually SEE one of these playing in front of you.

It does begin to look like the options being implemented at most casinos are designed to "screw the player", rather than being a GENUINE help to enhance their entertainment.

Nexigames appears to have taken over the mobile and poker side of Wild Jack, too.

It's an interesting company - licensed and registered in Malta and has an operational history that includes Mafia Casino, Gem island lottery with Playerati and Plazawin.com mobile (appears to be an extension of Wild Jack mobile)

Nexigames was listed as part of the SquareIT group.

I wonder why the established Wild Jack brand was sold, and how much it went for?

Could be that it didnt perform as expected and they tought it was better to sell it than to just consolidate it into AllSlots or AllJackpots, which are IMO stronger brands and probably more worth to focus on.

Would have tought that First Web would have been sold too. Have always considered it to be the weakest brand of the stable. Or at least migrated into AllSlots or AllJackpots.

Jackpot Factory bought Royal Joker awhile back and then killed it shortly afterward, which was a real shame, IMO. And then Fortune Lounge just closed several of their casinos too. It almost makes me wonder if there's been a change in the industry, perhaps some sort of tax or licensing issue involved with running multiple casinos...?

I had a friend who got a big fat raise and he was pretty excited about it until he got his first paycheck and realized that the only thing that happened was that he got bumped into a higher tax bracket - Uncle Sam got more, but my friend was actually taking home LESS than before his raise. I'm wondering if it may be something like that for the operators. If I ever open my own casino I'll be more in the know about how these things work.

That's pretty interesting, since this group seem to run the promotions for JF, and it seems the same address turns up in Fortune Lounge promotional emails.

The JF casinos are a subsidiary of a parent company, which is a bit secretive, and has something to do with Israel. Inexia, the JF payment processor is also owned by this parent company, and ONLY seems to process for JF casinos, making it more of an "in house" operation, yet separated by corporate structuring.

Makes me wonder, have JF sold Wild Jack to themselves?

yes, why dont all of the MGS cap the bet sizes of players who play with a bonus even though this is obviously possible as some MGS do this? And why do even casinos that are accredited on this site refuse to cap the bet sizes?

On this site http://www.casinomeister.com/accredited_casinos.php it says about the operational standards of accredited casinos:

"No player shall be involuntarily placed into a situation which breaches the terms and conditions during the course of play."

But the MG casinos that refuse to cap the bet sizes for players who play with a bonus and confiscate the winnings of players who breach the max bet rule, breach this standard, dont they?

An interesting thought that also occurred to me. These operators put toether such deliberately complicated structures that it is not unusual to see the same names cropping up in different contexts.

Nexigames has been associated with NetEnt and Aliquantum, too - through Mafia Casino at one point.

It's a exercise in intrigue trying to connect all the dots (I emphasise 'trying' ).
