    Question Autoplay feature in slots

    Hello everyone,

I have a question about "Auto Play" option in slot games. Is it an important feature for you? I mean how often you are using it when you are playing slots?

And more: which features (in your opinion) are the most important in autoplay? Pause between spins? "Stop autoplay if number of spins reached"? etc?

Any reply will be much appreciated.

    Thanks!

To me it's not overly important but it does come in handy. If I ever need to leave the comp I can have it running while I have more important things to do.

Features I like are the "Stop When Feature Is Triggered" You have to watch free spins and bonus rounds and "Stop If Win Equals Or Exceeds X Amount"(usually have this set to at least 100x my bet.) So that I can still capture that screenshot

    Cheers

It's a VERY important feature for me, and I'm VERY frustrated that NO casino softwares offer exactly what I want.

    The closest to perfect is MicroGaming - the improvement's I'd like here are;
The option to play normal speed spins, but skip the highlighting of every single win.
Have an adjustable time delay between spins.
Always stop when free-spins are won & wait for me to click a "start free-spins" button.
(Some of their slots have some of these features - but I want them on ALL their slots!)

Rival desperately need a "stop on win over $XX", the spin counter display to be permanent AND wait for me to click a "start free-spins" button.

RTG need the spin counter to remain visible AFTER a feature is won.

Playtech... actually their's is pretty good, but the counter needs to count upward not downward!

3Dice - sorry, but their autoplay is just a bad joke.

Wagerworks & Grand Virtual just need to add autoplay!

So basically my minimum ideal requirements are:
    * Variable spin speed.
    * Variable time delay between spins.
    * Stop on win over $value (or preferably, on win = N x TOTAL bet)
    * Permanently visible spin counter - even when feature is hit.
    * ALL features to wait for me to hit a "start" button (including free-spins).

    The autoplay option is important.

I agree with KK and Matt but the most important choices are shown in the provided pic at the end of the post and this one:

    * Stop when freespin/bonus game is triggered, I also want the option to have the freespin/bonus game autoplayed and then the autoplay continues

Yes, why don't they have that?

Yes, and I want the autoplay window to remember what I wrote the last time!

    Yes! Good point.

This is a minor issue, but quite irritating. How am I supposed to remember how many spins I chose when it started otherwise??

I have wondered a lot over this. This has to be easy to fix compared to the work behind all those nice eye candy slots?

    Enzo!

Please read this thread and make sure you take care of the problem.

This one isn't as important in autoplay as it is in manual play.

And while we are speaking of autoplay, remember that at a large Microgaming group still voids your winnings if you use autoplay to clear WR:

11.If Lucky Emperor Casino deems that the autoplay feature has been used for the purpose of meeting bonus account wagering requirements, Casino Rewards reserves the right to void winnings.

    Derail:

It's the same with politics. It's all about vote against the worst ones, not vote for the best opinions. No one thinks like me. I want them to raise taxes on marmelade, mountain bikes, mac computers and all other things I don't eat/use.

MGS once HAD all these "wanted" autoplay features, but REMOVED them on the newer games. The very old games still have them all.

I have noticed that some of the newest MGS slots of all don't even HAVE autoplay any more. Summer Holiday has no autoplay for example.

IMO, well-featured autoplay brings even more fun and excitement to the whole game process, because you can just lean back and enjoy spinning reels, and you'll know that autoplay will stop exactly at the moment you wanted!

Autoplay is an important feature to me too. I even find I miss it when I'm at the B&Ms!

The MOST important is to stop for feature or freespins.... at the beginning! There are a few slots that stop after the freespins, which really bugs me.

If we are playing these for entertainment, this is the most entertaining part!

While not autoplay, I love the stats counters at MGS. I often mix autoplay and manual play, and it's nice to be able to see number of spins I've played and the highest wins I've acheived. If you wanted to take that up a notch, starting balance when entering a game and end balance, or just the amount of increase/decrease would be great!

auto play is important to me as well. i think it might even prolong the carpel tunnel that may set in later on in life
i use several of the options such as stop after so many spins, stop if balance reaches about 100.00 or ?, stop when feature is triggered, also when using the stop when feature is triggered lets me know if i set the auto feature to lose 20 to 30 dollars and i walk away and then come back and still no feature had been trigered then i know i should move on to another game.

I do what mattsgame does. It's important to me - I play far more slots that have autoplay than those that don't.

I use autoplay most of the time. Since I'm in the US, I only play at RTG/Rival/3Dice, as there isn't much choice.

As KK said, Rival needs to revise the features (stop on free spins, remember last autoplay setup, etc.). It's irritating to have to start it again. And that stupid bar to set up spins and win amount is worthless so the numbers have to be typed in manually, every time.

RTG is obviously much better. With turbo play, the spins are fast.

3Dice doesn't have many options for their auto play. Wish there was a way to turn of the animations. It gets old seeing the same thing over and over.
