    Winning at Online Casinos

    Hello,
I'm new to the "casino world", I started by playing online poker, but recently decided to make a switch, hoping to get some sort of consistency. The main adjustment to me is the fact that the house is no longer my friend and I've been reading a lot of material lately, some of it about players having their account closed, winnings seized, withdrawals delayed for months and so on... Also, there're those documentaries about card counters and exploiters of biased wheels at B&M casinos, that act like secret agents, but what is the situation online?
The reason I'm asking is because, I have the only intention to play if I'm winning regularly, so my questions are:
    1) Is it possible to win a couple of thousand every month?
    2) Is the same online casino going to tolerate this, and pay you off time after time?
    Cheers

Payouts are Bad... if we were winning a few thousand a month, i don't think anyone would complain..

If you do win, the accredited Casinos here will not hesitate to pay you; however, there are limits at some of them for weekly withdrawals... see the CM Casinos list on the tabs above...

    Good Luck

It is definitely still possible to make money from casinos regularly - I've been doing it for over 9 years!
Not every month, but I've made profit about 8 from every 9 months in all that time by using the best casino bonuses, AND I only play reputable places who do pay cash-outs.
However it's not easy of course, otherwise everyone would do it and the casinos would go bust! You need a LOT of patience & self control.

    9 years is pretty impressive
What kind of games do you play? And do you rely more on the bonuses or your strategies?

For the first 4-ish years it was card games (Blackjack & various table pokers), but since about 2005, when the WRs started getting silly, 99% of my play is on slots.

There is no doubt I would not have been successful without bonuses, but I do think strategies in terms of "money management" are very important too. The most important rule IMO is "quit while you are ahead!"

Depends how casinos treat your country, if you have higher WRs or are straight up bonus banned.
At first you should be able to get a few thousands per month quite easily after that you will struggle to make +1k/month. Bonuses gets worse every day and the good ones are "killed" sometimes in hours. Reloads gets smaller and they are quicker to bonusban you.

Its not rocket science but you should be almost indifferent to gambling, in other words you shouldt like to gamble and just treat it as work.

Firstly you have to build up your bankroll. Play small (under 50) and soft bonuses from reputable casinos that pays fast. When you have built up a decent sized roll (~2k) start by playing the bigger ones (mostly 100 to 200) and again start with the softer ones from casinos that pays fast.

Its now that it may get tricky. Do you want to withdraw most of the profits and look at a somewhat steady 500/month or do you want to aim higher and start playing at less reputable casinos with high risk bonuses (high EV also). They pay slower if they pay at all but you have to go to the dark side if you want to make thousands per month. The more you want to earn the riskier it gets and you need a decent sized bankroll as you could stand to lose +10k on a bad run.

I wouldnt recommend the latter unless you are a risk lover. Go for the 500/month as you basically only risk to get bonusbanned. Add some matched betting and you could come up with 1k/month without risking too much.

Thats only scratching on the surface, there arent that many that will help a newbie to compete on the same bonuses. There is loads of information available troughout the web. Read and learn and decide what "path" you will take.

Edit: or work on your game and get a good +60% RB deal

Thanks a lot for the info, spiderlegz.

Maybe I should think the whole thing through again and adjust my expectations

I don't know why anyone is reccommending you take a bonus. Most Bonuses do not benefit table players. The few that do don't have wagering requirements or restrictions attached and very few accredited casino's offer these types of bonuses.

Now that being cleared up let's look at your goal 1000 a month at table games, =250 a week so 50 bucks a day, you want to get in and out as quickly as possible so I'd suggest 5 or 10 dollar bets with progression when needed at a game you know. When you hit your win goal QUIT! same with a stop loss your comfortable with.
