It's been featured on the MGS stand at expos. I believe a launch date later this year is probable.

And it only took about 7 years after the trilogy was released to make a slot game out of it.... of course it probably took 6 of those years to get through the 17 endings and all the credits.

If you enjoy those games then you are lucky, you have a wider choice.
I even prefer RTG slots to MG even though MG used to my number one software just 2 or 3 years ago.
They are still ahead of Rival IMO but that isn't saying much.

I think releasing 1 or 2 new games a month that offer little or nothing different was a big mistake.
They would of been far better off putting all their efforts into improving the graphics and more importantly introducing new gameplay mechanics.

Releasing 1 quality new slot (that offered something different) every 3 or 6 months would of been a better strategy.

The graphics look like a step up with embedded FMV much like Playtechs Gladiator slot. (I wonder if it is a 3rd party company that gets contracted for these licensed games)
The Playtech platform handles advanced graphics very well and is much smoother than the MGS software.
This leaves me wondering how this game will perform on the MGS platform - I think some people are going to get a very choppy experience but then again maybe MGS are updating their game engine.

It was quoted in a PR I saw as "medium volatility" with an RTP of between 96 & 97%.

Incidentally and OT (patially) but Virgin just got Thunderstruck (the original) and being Wagerworks got the RTP too - 96%.
