Weird gambling superstitions...

So the other day I'm playing some video slots - you know, the ones where you need 3 scatters to get the bonus? And I realized that every time I'd get two scatters, I'd look away from the screen. Like if I looked at the screen that third symbol wouldn't show up. Pretty weird huh?

So once I knew I was doing it, I'd force myself to watch the screen. And it was really difficult, you know? Like NOT throwing salt over your left shoulder after spilling it. Or NOT saying "Bless you" when someone sneezes. Or NOT stepping on the cracks cause you don't want to break your mom's back.

I mean logically I KNOW that the reels are spinning the same whether I watch them or not. I KNOW that the spin, win or lose, is already calculated and the spinning reels are just eye candy. And I KNOW that once I push the button it doesn't matter - if I dance the jig naked while dismembering a black chicken at the stroke of midnight on a full moon, it won't affect the outcome. So WTH am I doing looking away from the screen? But yet it's so hard NOT to.

So please someone tell me I'm not the only wacko who does this kind of thing even though I know better.

Funny, I recently had a good streak playing at 32 Red and I missed the sight of the best two spins because I turned my head aside on the last wheels.

I don't look away, I want to see it hit when it does, doesn't happen that often, lol.
But if I get 2 scatters, I always shout at my screen for the third..
I know they cant hear me, but I like to pretend that they can.

Oh hell yeah, that and other weird little customs like singing lalalalala like I don't hear you.... if I don't hear or see it, it will think I'm not looking or maybe be a surprise? LOL Wackos we are 3. The time I won a jackpot at Bingo, I had left in the middle of the game to go feed the dogs and when I came back I had won it. For quite a while during those or the coveralls I'd just walk away from it but it never happened again big surprise.

I think my critters think I'm crazy, cause I'm constantly yelling at my computer (like it's going to talk back to me ). I've actually walked away when I've been fortunate enough to get a free spin feature, afraid if I watch it I won't win anything (like that really matters). So no, you aren't the only wacko...that makes 4!

Hiya: It is not just us. Multi Million $$$ Casino's have their own. Now, they may state some reason behind it, but the fact is, none of it changes the math.
Station Casino's in Las vegas, will rotate between the big ball and the small ball in Roulette, every spin. Another Casino will tell the Person spinning the Ball, "To Speed it up", if a lot, or someone at the table is winning a lot, or winning big.

My superstition is this. If I try to Log in the Play, But I am kind of borderline as to if I want to or not, and things happen, "Microsoft update, or PC Scan Started, or a phone call, or any type of interruption", I will usually quit, and not log in. If 2 things happen to distract me in a row, Thats it, I am being told not to play right now, and I don't.

Who knows how many Millions I would have Won had I played anyway?

That is so funny & here I was thinking I was the only one that does this funny act.
I forgot to say this also that at times I put it on Auto spins at 50 and hope to come back to a surprise.
The best one I ever got was $93.27 on it.
