Tradition - Closed or NOT?

Now - I stood up for Tradition before, on the basis that I believe everyone is entitled to make mistakes - and hoped they were HONESTLY trying to fix them...

But I have a little concern here.

As an affiliate, I pulled Tradition from my site weeks ago - as some of you may remember I did not have my information (which I kept my passwords on a very specific piece of equipment - which my almost soon to be ex took with him when he left)... Anyhow - as soon as I got my info back - I went into my site and changed everything regarding Tradition, until at least they proved that they were fixing things.

NOW - I thought they were going to get their act together... I mean - hey - it seemed like the owner was really trying to communicate with everyone - and was really trying to explain things (no matter how badly they mangled the conversation - they at least tried.)

Anyhow HERE IS MY MAJOR CONCERN:


On 5/21 Tradition sent out notices to players about bonuses:

IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT 22th MAY 2010

Dear affiliates,

Foremost, we deeply apologize for this brutal announcement. Rival Gaming, the Tradition casino software provider is responsible for all banking transactions: our company has never had any agreement with any payment processor. Last months activity decreased because of processing problems both in U.S. and Europe that Rival Gaming did not anticipate, nor resolve.

As you know, the game industry is a sector that is both highly competitive and have unstable legal terms: first, our society can not continue to pay winnings players considering that player have received a match bonus on his deposit and that his deposit amount that enabled this winning has been blocked by a bank named X or Y... Until today, we paid all our players.

In addition, if your own players deposited and if these deposits are held by the bank, we are not able to pay you any commission, although, like us, you worked hard. We can not endure this situation.

Last, we can not stand to see dying Tradition casino by lack of support from the majority of our affiliates members. That said, we can not blame you, you expect a financial return as the fruit of your work, exactly as us.

Tradition casino has been created in order to give us the opportunity to prove that an online casino could establish a trusted relationship with players and affiliates, with transparency, and with all the love for this profession that characterized each member of our team. So --- I have YET --- to see ANYTHING written to the PLAYERS regarding TRADITION going out of business.

The Casino STILL Loads up and you can STILL LOG on...

So what does this mean?

Is IGAMING - actually Tradition?

I mean - a thousand questions are running through my head at this development - and none of them are very good right now...

While I would like to give the benefit of the doubt in this case - I am not seeing any possible alternative than PURE Negligence or quite possibly thievery - IF.... and IF Igaming's letter to all the affiliates is true.

Rival has not made an announcement - and while I see that affiliates will make money up to June 5th - WHAT OF PLAYERS after that?

And why hasn't RIVAL made an announcement to affiliates and players?

Rival NEVER make any sort of announcements to players or affiliates, EVER.
I'm surprised that someone like you, who has been around this game for some time, does not know that.

I'm also surprised you haven't read the other threads here at CM which discuss this same issue.

As I understand it, ownership of Tradition Casino has passed back to Rival themselves and, for the time being at least, it will carry on running as normal - players will not notice any difference (except bonus offers may change/disappear).
The same applies to iGamingPro - affiliates will not see anything change.

The original incompetent idiot owners are no longer on the scene - not a bad thing IMHO.

So to answer your original question; NOT closed.

Yes take the money i think thats really quite sensible advice...think there needs to be a huge amount of caution used when it comes to rival, especially some of the latest entries to the market.

I have played at paradise 8 from there very early inception and had some luck but now i have shelved them too, too many stories involving greif when it comes to verifications and withdrawls.

At the time that this post was made - the only thread showing was the old Tradition thread.

My concern is not whether anyone will notice any difference - but the simple fact - Tradition announces to the affiliates that they are closing their doors - which means Igaming.

SO - players that have been sent via the affiliates - will continue to play - yet - the tracking has NOT been addressed.

Igaming is directly Tradition - and is not rival - just like Rockbet - and any other Rival casino - while the shell appears the same - the underground team of elves - are not.

So with that said - players who are unaware are still playing Tradition - yet affiliate support specifically for Tradition stops on June 5th.

If Tradition closes their doors and/or reverts back to Rival - who will be making the payouts? Both to the players and/or the affiliates.

These questions are certainly not addressed.

Well that's a matter of opinion, of course. IMO, despite all their numerous faults, I have no knowledge of Rival ever ripping off players or affiliates so I am happier having the casino in their hands than under the control of the loose canons at iGamingPro.

Good people? They maybe was kind and tried to be helpful. Still their manager here showed us that she didn't even know that you can't hit BJ with skills.

Their incompetence made several Rival casinos to lose their accreditation.

I can not understand what the faith here in Rival is built on.

I trust Sloto'cash, Box24 and Black Diamond in the same way I trust bigger MG and RTG casinos.

What I don't like is the Rival central support, bonus abuse list and payout system. Slow and delaying.
Probably also because a lack of workers.
