    House Edge On Rollover?

Let's say you deposit $100 and redeem a coupon for a 100% match 30x wr slots only.

So you have $200 to start with and 30x wagering to complete. Let's also make it simple and say that the slots at the casino have a 95% payback percentage.

Is there an equation you can use to determine the house edge on this bonus(how much the wagering requirements add to a house edge...)?

    Or is it simply impossible.....

I am sure there is an equation the casinos use because if you look at some rival bonuses they determine the wagering requirements to a 0.XX point.

Actually I managed to answer my own question within a few minutes of searching google.

    eg:

$5000 in wagering with a house edge of 0.5% will result in an expected loss of $25

Yes, it's a pretty simple calculation, and it what I use to rate bonuses from best to worst on my websites.
As you can imagine, very few favour the player, and some are downright CRIMINAL!

By the way, in your calculation you said an edge of 0.5% - that's wrong for slots.
If the slot has a 95% RTP, it's edge is 5%
So $5000 in wagering with a house edge of 5% will result in an expected loss of $250

However this number says nothing about who has the edge, since you will only actually have to meet the wagering requirement when you are winning. A lot of the time you will bust out way ahead of WR and save lots of wagering.
