    Definitely NOT connected to any reputable MG casino;
    Had a look at the site - NO "About us", NO "Contact us" info, Terms & Conditions ONLY talk about the bonus and NOTHING else...

    This is another of those affiliate tricks where they click download and you then receive Platinum Plays casino.

    The actual file name is PrimeplayEN.exe but it´s the Platinum Plays file.
    I believe that this one is tracked by IP to pay the affiliate but I might be wrong.

    EDIT to add:

    It´s the same muppet who use this to casino stars which is EU Casino:

    xxxhttp://213.163.89.101/EN/

    EDIT 2:

    Trace ip:

    Title: Stars Casino

    Keywords: none

    Description: none

    IP:
    213.163.89.101
    server location:
    Group in Netherlands
    ISP:
    High Secured Space Network Group

    Hiya: I have a question? Why would an affiliate want, or need, to make a fake casino site, in order to get someone to actually download the casino they are an affiliate for?

    Download Wonalot Casino, but you actually end up at Winalot Casino. What's the point? Who are you trying to fool, and Why? Thanks.

    @love2winalot:

    I am not sure of this but there are so many tricks to use in the affiliate world. I can guess the affiliate himself thinks that this is a good way to collect customers.

    It's probably a lot easier to make this website than a good affiliate site. When the "new customers" have reached the page he clicks download directly.

    Only guessing here.

    Agreed. That seems most likely.

    It looks to me like the crooked affiliate is trying to have users sign up at the same casino twice, hoping they can snag some legit affiliates commissions.

    Surely this can be a BIG reason to substitute the name of a bogus casino for that of a REPUTABLE one. If a player already had a Platinum Play account, they would (probably) know that they couldn't have another. This way, they could be fooled into thinking this was a casino they had NOT signed up to before, and might get as far as registering an account, or even making a first deposit, before the casino security department caught up with them. If the affiliate is paid a set fee per new player, rather than on commission on net win (for the casino), this ploy makes sense.

    To make this work though, they have to violate the copyright of the genuine casino to build the fake landing page, and hack the installer package to reflect a different casino name. At the crude and amateurish level shown on these fake landing pages, this isn't all that hard. Oddly enough, this has been going on for YEARS, and Fortune Lounge has barely managed to make a dent in this problem. Other casinos promoted this way (that I have seen) are Grand Prive, and Roxy Palace, and a few for Spin Palace too!

    Once the software is installed though, the true casino name shows up. If the affiliate were REALLY clever, they could get around this, at least long enough for an account to be registered before an update purges all the "corrupt" files, and replaces them with the correct ones.
