    What If?.....

Had an interesting situation occur last week and wondered if anyone had anything siimilar happen.

I got a free $20 chip from a reputable RTG casino (I had deposited previously) that came with 20x wagering and $100 max cashout. I was about a third of the way thru the wagering when my balance dipped below $1. As usually happens with RTG (maybe ALL RTGs, not sure) the balance moved to all withdrawable. Well I was betting 25 cents on TRex and hit the feaure with 40 cents left. It brought me up to $20....and got as high as $30 before eventually busting.

I wondered what would have happened if I won a random jackpot? Would I have still been held to the bonus terms? Technically I was still playing on the free chip....or is it considered my own cash now when its below $1?

Just curious if anyone had this happen to them and were they able to withdraw over and above the terms?

I have often wondered the same thing. Not just if a random was hit either. What if you just got a good win on bonus spins or something? You know that you haven't made playthrough requirements, but your playthrough shows 0. Can you cash out immediately or do you need to contact support and find out what is left for playthrough? Is the bonus still in effect? Or is it cleared once the counter says 0? Are you still tied to the restricted games of the bonus or can you play all games? Hopefully a rep from one of the RTG casinos will drop in and ease our inquiring minds.

I've wondered this as well. If I ever play another RTG on a free chip I'm gonna ask support this question before I play. I imagine they just keep the jackpot and deny your win under the T&C of the chip you took???

I had this happen to me a few times..well quite often heh I "vegasbum" it and play usually 1-2 lines. I cashed out from one of the clubworlds loyalty freechip slightly over max, but when it was credited for me i had like a 31 cent balance or so left...not sure if that has anything to do with it.

I remember on that last spin that saved me lol..was over my 31 cents, but the wagering had disappeared already.

..on a sidenote, some rtgs keep wagering on the very last cent haha not trying to abuse the system of course

Since you have a max cashout of $100, you would lose the remainder of the jackpot. I could be wrong about this though, maybe one of the more experienced posters will know for sure.

I doubt you keep the jackpot

Had a free bonus once with max cashin of $150.00 was playing london inspector and hit bonus round and it just kept going. I exited the game when it was alittle over 150.00. I withdrew the $150.00.

The next time I deposited I played my usual games and low and behold when London Inspector opened the free spins continued for a long time and ended up with $500.00 dollars.
I played other games and cashed out.
happened once at microgaming but with no bonus. I must have been disconnected suddenly and didn't know I had hit the bonus round until the next time I played there and when game opened I had free spins! It was a nice surprise!

I believe that Rival holds your entire balance to the max cashout terms until after they've processed your withdrawal, because I faced this situation before and their support indicated that I could continue playing with my balance, but could not cash out anything above the max cashout as outlined in the terms of the bonus I'd taken.

Yes, but when your balance drops below $1, no matter how much wagering you have left, your balance is moved to withdrawable. And if you are able to get back to any amount over $1, it stays withdrawable.

The questions is, are you no longer tied to the bonus when your balance goes below $1?

I believe you are still tied to the original terms and conditions, when they remove the bonus money, you are left with the withdrawable amount.

Say you were playing a bonus that had a $150 max cashout, and you made playthrough and they removed everything but $150. You continued playing and got it up to $300 and you request a cashout, they will deduct the $150 that you are entitled to and take the remaining $150 away. Thats at least my experience.

    Hope it helped

But in this situation you haven't made playthru, but your balance is moved to withdrawable.

Lets say you get a $13 free bonus with 20x wagering and 5x max cashout. You do one spin on Fruit Frenzy at $12.50 and win nothing. You have 50 cents left and now your balance is withdrawable. So you go to Jacks or Better 10 hand, 1 cent demonination and bet the 50 cents, hit 10 royal flushes for $400 payout. Can you withdraw the whole $400? If not, why?
