3Dice see sense at last! But...

I don't know if anyone else has already noticed this & posted about it, but after me banging on & on about it for years 3Dice have finally seen sense and changed their slots so that when you start 'em up they are still on the same number of lines & coins bet as when you last played!
Previously they had the moronic idea that people would like it if they always booted up set to one coin on just one win line... :what:

But... while changing that they also decided for some bizarre reason to downgrade the simple autoplay to something much more clumsy which has been set up wrong to boot. :(
(The stop on win of bet x N is x Line bet, when it should be on x Total bet).

Oh well - I suppose they'll get everything right eventually!

Yes Im not sure what they have done with the autoplay - I dont bother with it now.

Also, you have to click 'max bet' on the Old Glory slots to bet all coins - it used to be that you could hit 'max bet' the first time and then just keep hitting the big 'spin' button and it would keep playing max coins. Now, if you hit 'spin' it only plays one coin  Sometimes you also have to click it twice which is annoying.

The resetting bets dont bother me as I always double check before I spin and I play with the amounts a lot anyway.

I think KK is right to bring it to the attention of the forum. 3Dice has now fixed what has been an obvious oversite for a long time and unfortunatly now created a new one with their woeful autoplay setup. Please do it away and bring it back how it was. :)

I actually had the enormous pleasure of finally meeting Enzo in person in London in January; he knows I'm a straight talking guy who never holds back if I think something is daft or silly and I know he's used to my posting style - so I'm sure he wont be offended by my comments.
Well I hope not anyway, otherwise he may never buy me another beer again!

There is constructive criticism, and then there is pointless bashing. KK is always one to give constructive criticism. The observation in this thread is a good one.

Yes, I did notice the fix, and I appreciate it. But I also did note that the new auto-play feature is still a 'work-in-progress'. :D As you say, I'm sure they'll fix it. I also don't bother with auto-play now, as I'm not entirely sure how to work it correctly.

There are two tabs in the new wizard. On the right tab there is an option for the buttons to behave as they used to. (classic)

I like the default setting. Clicking the max bet button once maxes your bet but doesn't spin. (nice if you do it by accident.) Clicking it while the bet is maxed spins the reels. Right clicking the max bet button brings up the wizard if you want to change your max bet or decide on how many spins or what win size it should stop.

Personally I would have preferred an option to stop after losing or winning a certain amount of money like RTG. I use this when I want to leave it autospinning and run to the bathroom or get some coffee. I know I won't lose more than 2, 5, 10 bucks while I'm gone. Very handy.

actually I'm quite adaptive and i approve of every thing that makes the slots spin at three dice it's just my opinion :thumbs up:

Get outta here Skiny....really? God, do I feel stupid, lol. I'm with KK, I much prefer the old simple autoplay. I'm always scared now I'm going to set the wrong amount, as I don't bet "per line"...I just know how many lines a slot is, and bet total amount.

Thanks for letting us know...I'm off to play with it and see if I can figure it out. :)

I have never been able to play 3 dice. I live in washington state and it would not let me register. Is it great...am I missing anything?

When you registered, was Washington not listed as a selectable state? I'm in a banned state and had no problem registering.

As far as being great, I've played 3 times with no cashouts. Games are different in a good way but slots/vp seem very tight. Have to say I had problems initially with the new player deposit, then the bonus and customer service was outstanding. By that I mean I had the same person help me via live chat on 3 or 4 different inquiries, she answered fast (no 3 minute delays) and was very helpful.

FWIW...
