I spun max bet several times on arctic fortune in one of MG,s crappy new lobbies.
I was set on £1 stake and auto playing with autoplay set to 100 games.
The machine played off 2 or 3 games then stopped for some reason known to itself so I used manual play instead. the first game was at £1 but the second and successive games played at max bet of £5 which i didnt notice until a pair of scatters paid £5 which I thought was nice until I saw the level of the bank. Thinking I had done something stupid like press the max button instead of start, I reset the game to £1, played off one game ok then the next
went to £5 again at which point I gave up.

So sick of the new update, I cant fathom out what MGS think they are doing.
I used to get better performance 10 years ago on windows 98.
Every operation is slow, game loading ,game spin, game exit. in fact every operation and for what purpose. They must have tested it using broadband and computer hardware far in excess of that used by the average player.

Hitting max bet at MG is not necessarily going to be the game's max bet unless you're already at the largest coin size. Isis max bet is $2.50 @ .01 so if playing $0.25 and accidentally hitting max bet is not as drastic as playing $0.25 Fortune Falls at 3Dice and accidentally hitting max bet and jumping to $15.00 - the true max bet for that slot.

As far as a max bet button being treacherously close to a spin button, nothing is as perilous as Medieval Moolah at 3Dice, a proximity that can easily jump your bet from $0.30 to $9.00 - Moolah's tip top.

I made a cheesy little button cover in flash for MG slots. I can resize it with the arrows and drag it around where ever I want. It's always on top of all other programs so it's impossible for me to accidently bet max.

If anyone wants it let me know.

    Thats a novel idea Skiny.
Many players will already have their own version of this covering the cashout button! lol

I've actually hit bet max at 3dice before. For a low roller it can end a session in a hurry.

I started a thread about it here a long time ago and had several discussions about ways to safeguard the bet max button with casino reps there but I guess it's not important enough to change the program.

My cheesy little flash program doesn't like sitting over 3Dice. It turns transparent and flickers. Works great for MG though.

Tampering with the casinos software by having specially written software to intercept the maximum bet button is interfering with the gameplay.
The casino is losing money because of players like you. lol

But seriously, there is no reason why they can't have an option to "grey" out key functions such as this, at the very least it would customise the players gameplay.

My idea for 3Dice was just to default the amount of coins to 1 upon entering a slot game so betting max would just bet all lines at 1 coin unless you change it on purpose.
