    Gaming from work

    Hi,
I spend many hours in the office. Many times, I have nothing to do other then surf the web.
I am looking for a way to play casino games from work. I cannot install software on office computer and cannot use browser cause company computer people somehow see everywhere employees go to.
    Any ideas?
    Daniel

My suggestion is don't do it.. Not worth risking your job! If you lost your job because of this think how hard it would be to get another one.. Not worth the risk.

Quite a few casinos can be accessed via your cell phone. Check out 32red here http://www.casinomeister.com/accredited_casinos.php#mg

Other than that - using your bosses resources to gamble online is not a wise thing to do.

Stay home You will have all the time in the World to play online.
Thank God you don't work for me.
I can see the headlines now.
"Online Casino player bets at work & make people die"
Play safe & play at home or don't play at all.
Is playing online at work worth the money "NO"
Work is Work & Play time is away from work.
If you have that much time at work read a book.
Can you tell me what kinda job you hold?
    Thanks & Play Safe

could always bring your laptop to work (if you have one) and use wifi.

Of course the cell phone access is probably the best idea.

    Cheers

Sometimes I gamble when I have lunch at work
Yeah, yeah I know: gambling and eating at the same time is no good

I guess it is a good thing i retired from managing apartments then....hehehe

I agree with most of the others. It is usually a bad idea to gamble on line from work. There are a few exceptions, "on site property manager" as example, but 99% of the time, you are just putting your job in jepordy.

Unless..........You did as i did, and actually tell your Boss, "Hey Boss, I make more at the internet Casino than you pay me. Give me a raise or i quit".....
"All I want, is to WIN my fair share, and maybe just a teeny bit more"

I too wondered about this, gambling while at work. While I wouldn't play online casinos while on company time, I certainly like to be able to do so while I'm on my hour-long lunch period.

The only way I could do that is to bring my own laptop with wi-fi. Cellphone screens are too small for me but I thought about getting a blackberry or I-Phone. But I have no idea which online casinos support that.

With the introduction of the I-Pad device, I think finally there is a good go-between laptops and cellphones.

Back to the work environment, the computer/communications department uses Websense to ban any and all gambling related websites including Casinomeister. It even bans NEWS ARTICLES that merely mention lottery winners or have the word lottery in it....even if it is a government agency reporting on it! Talk about overkill.

I'd suggest you to use VPN. If you don't know what is it - here you can find more information:
    http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/VPN
There are many sites that offer free VPN. You need just download their VPN-client, install it and start it. VPN-client will create new secure (usually SSL) connection between your PC and VPN server, and all Internet data will be transfered round Websense via secure SSL connection. So you can easily read your favorite articles
