Question Are there casinos where wagers for same game count differently to WR per bonus?

    Hi,

My question is a bit technical, but are there casinos where wagers for same game count differently to WR per bonus?

So what I mean: At most casinos you see tables in the T&C specifying for example:
    - Slots: 100% of wagers count to bonus WR
    - Roulette: 50%
    - Blackjack: 20%
    - ...

All casinos I checked so far use the same table with "% of wagers that count for WR" across all their signup, reload, monthly, VIP and what not bonuses.

Can I assume all casinos use 1 value per game consistently (would really simplify my life!)? Or are there casinos that mix up these values across bonus offers (for example special Roulette bonuses where Roulette play counts more to WR than normal)?

    Thanks a lot!

PS When I say "casinos" it includes poker, betting, lottery, bingo, forex, ...

There are sometimes "BJ" only bonuses and "Roulette only" but and those count 100% towards WR but they are like 20% with 40 times WR and such..

I have no example of casino right now but I have seen them around.

    Thanks Maphesto!

Other bonus related question: I noticed that 50 States has match bonuses like:

"100% up to $250 but you can deposit up to $999"

So if you would deposit $999, you'd still get $250 match (better than 0 anyway).

I always assumed match bonuses were for small deposits and if you went over it you received nothing. Am I right this is the common way or do more casinos than 50 States allow you to "go over the max 'matchable' deposit amount" without losing the match?

I find it VERY hard to believe ANY casino will limit how much you deposit!
I think most would be delighted if you deposited more than the match value - because then ALL your funds will be tied in to the WR.

I was assuming that any deposit over the match would not count for WR even if WR is a "B+D" multiple - good that you tell me.

I wasn't saying that it would effect the WR.
E.g. If you took a 100% up to $100 bonus with WR (D+B)x15, the wagering is still $3,000 whether you deposit just $100 or $1000.
But in either case you can't withdraw anything until you complete the WR - your extra $900 would be "trapped" and at risk of being lost!

    Hi Peter-Jan,
    Both options possible:
there are casinos that have similar wagers for specific games throughout all their bonuses, and there are brands that define it per bonus.

For you (a webmaster), the first option is obviously more convenient. Myself, being on the marketing side of the industry, I would be glad to know what players prefer:
I always thought that players would prefer that specific bonus will have 1:1 wagering for that specific game: for example a Blackjack bonus, will have 1:1 wagering for blackjack.
    Thanks in advance,
    Daniel

In principle a casino could offer the same weighting for WR to all games. But by doing this the overall WR would increase. As slots are the most popular games then slot players would be penalised if the casino gave a mean % value for all games.

If the mean percentage was 50% for all games then the WR would be doubled. I personally think the current weighting system casinos have is fair. Also it gives the player an opportunity to play all games without worrying about playing excluded games.

Bonuses are good for slot players as it gives them more playing time to try and hit a decent win. Whereas lower risk games are probably better played without a bonus.

You can try some special game bonus such as "blackjack bonus" or " slot only bonus"

It's really hard to find a casino that only need to wager the bonus X times to finish the WR now.

Hiya: Well, if the gaming rep wants to know what players perfer, it is this. Deposit $200, get $200 in bonus, and have a 20x playthru, as example. All games in the bonus count as 100%.

That is an example. Here is why a lot of us do not take bonus offers.
    1. Betting on the wrong game, forfiets all bonus an winnings.
why not just block that game, or provide a reminder message.

    2. Trying to cashout before meeting wagering requirements forfeits all $.
not everyone wants to play, pen an paper in hand, to keep track of how much and how many times they have bet so far. There should be an easy way to see, "you have currently bet 16x the bonus amount".

    3. And get rid of the stupid Max cashout limits that are 1 or 2 times the bonus only.
