Highest VIP level but not eligible for bonuses

I hope somebody can help me understand this.

Last week I received an e-mail from a casino that I reached their highest VIP level.

I was now eligible for more exclusive casino promotions and events. They sent me a list of these promotions. These promotions included daily, weekend, weekly and monthly promotions.

However during the entire week after that this e-mail my cashier showed : "no promotions"

I e-mailed support where my new VIP level promotions were and their response was: I'm really sorry but you're not eligible for bonuses at the moment.

I run quite good at this casino. Does this mean they have banned me from bonuses allthough according to my VIP level I should be eiligible to their best bonuses??

Anyone else here had such an experience?

You have got to be refering to a Rival Casino. They love the bonus banning if you win tactic!

    Honestly... good luck....

If yo're lucky enough to win from a Rival (which by the way the OP wrote, sounds like a Rival), most of them will bonus-ban you in a New York second. You might be eligible for weekly cash back (and that's a stretch), but failing that, you can pretty much kiss your bonus chances goodbye.

I would start by emailing the rep here and asking why you received such an e-mail, only to find absolutely no recognition whatsoever of your play status in your cashier. On top of that, ask them why when you wrote them back, you were told that your account isn't eligible for bonuses.

If they can't give you a straight answer, or beat around the bush and take days to respond, it's time to take your hard-earned money elsewhere. There are plenty of other places that will shower you with promotions once you hit the highest VIP level.

Sorry but you cannot "have a good run" and receive promotions from Rival at the same time! Their idea of a VIP is some one who NEVER cashes out but keeps depositing Sorry, as much as I love the Scary's, I have a real problem with the way they ALL handle customers. (Or don't..whichever way you look at it)

"VIP" often means ABSOLUTELY NOTHING when it comes to online casinos. Many will even say you are a "VIP" before you even PLAY. "VIP" is a much abused term among online casinos, which is why this kind of thing keeps happening. If you really WERE a VIP, yet were not eligible for certain promotions, you would be TREATED like a VIP, and would get a personal VIP account manager to give you PERSONALISED offers that you were eligible for, you would NOT first be told you were eligible for a whole host of offers by your "VIP account manager" (which in this case seems to be a ROBOT), only to find that when a REAL PERSON checks your account, they find that you are NOT eligible.

The mistake players make is thinking that they are "special" when they are granted things like "highest VIP level". In many cases, this is meaningless bullshit. There ARE exceptions though, like 32Red's Club Rouge. You are PERSONALLY invited, after having your account reviewed by HUMANS (Probably the likes of Pat and Ed). Club Rouge is NOT based on your deposits, wins, losses, etc, but how you manage your account in general, and how you contribute to the "32Red community".

I believe my invitation to Club Rouge was based on my hours of work "busting" MGS, who were using "corporate deniability" when an error in a new lobby implementation caused many players to be unable to access the casino because it jammed in an "infinite loop" after the scheduled update, and reinstalling often didn't work. I submitted evidence through 32Red that demonstrated it was a bug in the MGS updater module, where a corrupted version of the "mupdate" file was imported, preventing the casino from realising it HAD updated itself. I was invited to a posh dinner with Pat and Ed, and an invite to Club Rouge followed shortly afterwards.
After my huge win in June, I have seen NO SIGN WHATSOEVER of being "bonus banned" from ANYTHING at 32Red.

Jackpot Factory didn't bonus ban me after a prolonged run of luck, and their reward is that the long term house advantage, along with me NOT being bonus banned, has allowed them to win the money back from me (maybe sometimes a bonus ban is a GOOD thing ).

Casinos that first tell a player they are a top flight VIP, and are then effectively told they are "scum" by support, are unlikely to make that player feel any need for continued loyalty, especially when other casinos will offer them MORE simply for being a NEW player, let alone a VIP.

Following on from VWM's comments, he is right that the VIP tag is too often over used, and for many casinos the word VIP is just a euphemism for saying thanks for all your deposits, just to make you feel appreciated. All talk and little substance.

The truth of the matter is that with the online environment it is very hard for a casino to distinguish one player from another through incentives. They can't call you a taxi, offer you free drinks or food. They can't get you a private room or allow you other forms of loyalty. That is apart from chip incentives primarily bonuses, so when they exclude you from the one thing they can provide, then the VIP tag becomes worthless.

For me VIP levels are not targets to go after. Because as far as most casinos are concerned, your VIP status is only as good as your last months deposit. So unless you are being properly looked after month on month (which in your case you are not) then you would be better off spreading your deposits around different casinos and bagging bonuses that way.

    Mike

Not true for Vegas Regal.....I won on 2 ND chips and can still receive bonuses..
