Newbie looking for a good Playtech casino

Hello everybody, it's nice to have joined this forum, you've got a fine community over here. This is my first post yay

I've recently decided to do a little spot of online gambling and have been for the past week or so looking for a perfect place to suit me.

I did a bit of digging and came up with Betfred as probably the best solution for me. Despite having a "terrorist" appproach towards my country (Romania) which manifests in having 75x playthrough, I still see it as the best place right now.

I have tried RTG, Microgaming and Playtech practice runs and I must say I'm a big fan of Playtech. They're also the only ones who offer my favorite game, BJ Switch. I've been constantly succesful playing it in Fun or Practice mode. The question goes, is it possible that Betfred has it slightly tweaked so that the odds are better than money play? I know they're reputable and all, but it could well be a marketing gimmick to atract newbies such as myself.

Second, I'm worried about in and out payment methods. I would prefer using one of my debit cards (Mastercard Mondo and Visa Electron) directly on the site. Do you see any problems with that or do you think I should contact my bank first and consult with them on this? I'd happily use Paypal but my country is not on the list supported by Betfred and I'd hate involving a 3rd party company and paying extra fees.

Third, there's a thing I haven't quite understood about playthrough requirements. What if I theoretically use 1 cent of the bonus money and turn it into 1000$, not having met the ridiculously big playthrough terms, is that money stuck into their account until I complete the 75x ? And what if I try to withdraw a part of it unaware of the problem; is my account subject to locking up or losing the winning and bonuses?

Last but not least, is Betfred a good place to play? You know, the odds, payouts (btw I'm not quite sure what this means either ), receiving money in a timely manner, customer support, all that. If not, could you reccomend a better one for me to check out?

Thank you very much for your help. I know you've probably heard this a million times, but your info is valuable to me so kindly enlighten me. Just remember, you were a newb like me once . Happy holidays to everyone and all the best.

Hello and welcome. The best person that can help with that is Kasino King. Maybe he will come around and answer your inquiry.

Betfred has a good reputation and is accredited here. I've been playing at Bet365 and am very happy with them and their level of service.

Hi both, thanks for answering. Yes, I did check bet365 out as well but they have a 200x playthrough for my country which is kinda pointless to begin with

Yes. Once you take the bonus you MUST finish the WR.
It's quite clearly stated in the 2nd term of the T&Cs:-
Withdrawing or transferring any funds out of your casino account before completing all of the required wagering will result in your bonus funds and winnings being voided.
Also, you do realise that Blackjack Switch only counts 20%?

That means if you Deposited €100 for a €100 bonus you would have to wager:
    (100+100)x75 x 5 = €75,000 before you could cash out.

Seriously, if you want to play any sort of Blackjack it is hardly ever worth taking a bonus. The casinos are not charities, and you will find the wagering very hard at nearly all of them.
I have a list of Blackjack bonuses here, but this list is a little out of date and you would need to CAREFULLY check the T&Cs regarding your country.

Re your banking questions; Sorry I can't help here. It's impossible for me to know the rules for all the different countries. You seem to speak (or type!) very good English, so I would contact ANY casino you are thinking of playing to get a definite answer on your depositing & withdrawing options.

Re Reputable? Yes, Betfred are A-OK!
They are a big bookmaker in the UK, with shops in all the big towns. Being on CM's list as well means they're definitely safe.
But you are wise to ask; IMHO 75% of Playtech casinos are dodgy, if not rogue - I only list 10 on my site which I think are OK out of something like 80 total Playtechs on the net.
According to an ex-Playtech employee who is very respected here, fun play is exactly the same a real play.

Thanks KK, I actually see the bonus as backup money in case something goes wrong. Does playing with my deposited money and not touching the bonus count towards the WR? It's as long as I don't get into the bonus that I can safely withdraw any winnings right? Sorry for insisting on this matter but I haven't found it properly explained in black on white anywhere.

One more thing, I saw 32red casino advertising that they automatically deposit increments of the bonus (10$) as you play and meet the WR. Does this work on Betfred or any other casinos or do you either get all of it in one big lump or none? Thanks again.

Well I thought it was pretty Black on White in my last post...

    I repeat:-
Once you take the bonus you MUST finish the WR.
    There are NO exceptions.
    (At Betfred).

I have heard this "But I didn't touch the bonus..." argument before - trust me, you can't do that.

There are a few MG casino groups who DO allow early cash-out without finishing the WR (all you lose is any un-converted bonus), but 32Red isn't one of them. I have a list of those who do here. (See the "Full WR?" column).
(Please double check the T&C's as it's impossible for me to guarantee my sites are all up-to-date).

    Good luck!

I am not sure about the payout on Blackjack Switch, but a good example to answer your questions accoarding to my experiences at Roulette at Playtech.

I play 90% of my time in Playtech casinos. I often won on software roulette. I could hardly cash out any winnings on live roulette, not just at Playtech, but everywhere else. So considering the software roulette at playtech paid better for me than Live roulette tables, I would say that their softwares are set honestly.

Anyway Bet356 and Betferd are places I hardly play at. I don't really like their bonuses.

If you want good bonus, I think you should go to Centerbet (Playtech). Sign up through Online Casino City, and you can also get a no deposit bonus there as I remember. They will give you 100% up to 250, and !!! To please you if you only play with your funds even if there is bonus on your balance as well, you can play any game. Until you don't reach that point that your bonus balance would be used, you can play any.

PKR casino, also playtech, gives you the bonus after you wagered your deposit. This means you can play any games and cash out any time, becuase until the WR is not completed, you don't have any bonus on your account.

At Grosvenor casino, the rules are also similar like at PKR. Grosvenor is a great casino anyway, run by a brick and mortar company from the UK.

I am a regular player at Betfred and have never had a problem with them. Customer service is fast and helpful. Withdrawals are usually within 48 hours.

You don't have to take a bonus, if you opt in for bonuses they are credited automatically until you opt out. With the WR standard bonuses are usually set at x15 D+B.

You are probably aware that there are very few accredited Playtechs on here. Betfred is one of them, play with confidence here.

    Thank you Mike.

I found another Playtech casino that seems legit, William Hill Casino. I see it's not accredited here and doing a quick search I found several complaint threads about it.

It's better for me bonus wise, because of no anti-eastern european crap I get at Betfred. I'm particularly interested in the mid-roller bonus pack, deposit 500$ get 350$ bonus. They have a 20x wr, with certain games counting more. Unfortunately there's a 30 day period of time you actually get the bonus, after that it's automatically removed, but as they claim, not the money you win using it.

Ok enough about that, how is William Hill as an online establishment? Do they pay in due time, confiscate winnings for no reason, customer support, odds and payouts, all that? Compared to Betfred or other established Playtech casino, does it qualify?
