why some no-deposit bonusses require a deposit in order to withdraw?

Why some no-deposit bonusses require a deposit in order to withdraw? Does it have something to do with verification, or is it a method of rough casinos to gain money? xD

No deposit bonuses do not require a deposit to withdraw. If they do then they're not no deposit bonuses.

Many ND bonuses do actually require you to make a deposit so that you are able to cash out the free chip (assuming WR is completed) The most common one I have seen is deposit a minimum of 50, which you would have to wager through at least once.

They are usually advertised as a free chip to try our their games. Basically it is a no deposit to get the free chip. A deposit is often required to withdraw that free chip and any winnings.

Casinos aren't charitys they are not going to give free cash away, the ND is a just a taster so they can hopefully get you playing there.

It's just for verification to check; a) you are of legal age to gamble, and b) to make sure you don't make multiple accounts to try to cheat the casino by claiming the same offer many times.

For example, all Rival casinos ask you to make a verification deposit (if you've never deposited there ever before), but you don't have to wager 1c of your own money - you can just cash out everything in your account (up to the maximum stated in the promo).
    They are truly risk-free offers.

These casinos can spin it however they like but "No Deposit" means "No" deposit. If you have to deposit for any reason they should call it a welcome bonus or a deposit bonus or a Happy Hanukkah bonus but when you put the two words together "NO" and "Deposit" that means "No Deposit."

    I disagree.
You don't need to deposit to get the bonus - so it is a No-Deposit Bonus.

    However, it's not a No-Deposit Cash-out!

I have always thought that you really cannot be critical of ND bonuses.
This is entertainment afterall so no matter how rediculas the cashout requirements seem for a ND its still good value, because you are paying nothing.

You wouldn't expect to go into a pub you haven't tried before and get a free pint.

Not all ND bonuses however require you to make a deposit, its just a case of wading through the t&c's.

With Rvials it is a real NoDeposit bonus if you have made a deposit at the casino in question in the past.
