Websites fun mode and real mode same % of real play?

Are there websites that have the fun mode like the real mode with the chances to win are the same?

    Thanks, Ghost.

I assume you are frustrated because you found you can win like crazy on fun mode on one casino and then you play the real game and lose like crazy. I guess that's why one of them is called FUN mode while the other is just casino (losing.)

Though I'm a firm believer that fun mode is no different from real, it's sure frustrating to find a strategy which works great with the exception of sessions during which real money is involved. I feel like I have to develop a totally different strategy for real play which might suggest that somehow the random number generators are working differently.

Assuming real vs play is totally the same, one reason they may seem different might be psychological. When playing on fun mode you are in a totally different situation. You don't have the stresses involved of playing real money, you have an extremely powerful tool in the form of an unlimited bankroll and unless your discipline is perfect you may deviate from you strategy in ways which could hurt you. It's also easy to rationalize away or forget the losses.

Another issue people run into is proper testing of the strategy. Often, people don't spend enough time testing a strategy on a casino to get real statistics. They might find a strategy, get a good streak of luck, declare the strategy a winner and then hit the bottom side of luck when they play for real money. Had they spent more time testing they would have seen that the strategy is a loser even in fun mode. Also, even if fun mode and real play are the same on one casino, the RNG's might have different "personalities" than another casino. A winning strategy on one casino might not work as well on another casino.

The bottom line is that it's very difficult to get around the house edge. If there is a situation which will kill your strategy, that situation will appear if you play long enough, and that situation is likely to happen often enough to screw you over if you are a regular player.

Those arguments still don't put my mind at ease though. With one particular game on one particular casino I can win all day long in fun mode but I can barely even keep afloat in real mode. I can also do very well with this strategy on every other casino I have tried. Sure, there are some losses but on average my wins overcome my losses by a wide margin and my strategy has very low variance. I don't believe I have found a way to overcome the house edge, I just feel that the RNG's have certain characteristics which my strategy works well with. Of course, so far I have found that my strategy is a fun mode wonder.

At this point, I feel that crafting and testing a strategy for fun mode might be of little value. If your strategy isn't starting out successful for real, then forget about it.

I agree excellent post Manofsteel, not much to add other than that in fun play mode players probably tend to play for a shorter period of time, when was the last time you played a 2 or 3 hour session in fun play? Which on the basis of the longer you play the more likely you will lose, the grinding down of the bankroll doesn't seem as pronounced.

Also with the unlimited bankroll the losses don't get recorded in your mind, whereas in real play mode every losss you are accutaly aware of!

Hiya: This question proabely gets asked more often than any other one in regards to on line casinos. Here is my take on it.

    THE ODD'S.

If you assume both free mode, and real mode use the exact same RNG, then is it not just plain logical to assume the Odd's of the bets made will fall into place the longer you play the game?

You always here of someone winning a bunch of bets, and making a good chunck of money. Everyone then tells this person, "Congrads, but if you keep playing the Odds will catch up to you". Just as they should.

So, what is the point? If you are winning more bets than you should in Free mode, and then switch to play for real mode, are not the Odd's still going to catch up to you?

If you won 70 out of 100 hands in BJ, playing for free, I do not see why you would be surprised if you lost 70 out of 100 later on. imhop, switching to play for real has nothing to do with it.

Just once, get on a good streak in free mode, and later on, instead of playing for real, just keep playing the same way in free mode, and usually you will see the game swing back to normal.
