Question regarding Playtech unavailable card games

On some Playtech casinos I have played at I have noticed that certain card games are on the games menu list, but when you open them, you get a popup box saying "This game is unavailable, please try some of our other games"

Poker three and let them ride seem to be affected with this, and seems to have been this way for ages. Why have them on the games menu if they are never available?!

This also seems to be the case with some of the slots. I have asked livechat but never got an answer!

    Hi Marie,

What is also strange is that on the main page of their sites, they are advertising these games in the preview section. So I am thinking this is an issue affecting all Playtechs.

I mentioned poker three and let them ride as these are two popular casino games, which I find strange are not available for as long as I can remember.

Perhaps someone from Klub8, Bet365 or Betfred can explain the situation regarding these games and when we might actually be able to play them!

I noticed this at Will Hills when I took their Sign-up Bonus; my favorite slot Alien Hunter was not available the whole time I was playing there. I wondered if they de-activated games they don't want you to play while doing the WR for a bonus.
Were you playing with a bonus?

Having a bonus doesn't seem to make any difference. Even in free play mode these same games are deactivated!

Example of one is at Betfred, Poker three, Let them Ride and Casino war all deactivated, and have never seen these games activated. I have never come across any slots that aren't activated.

Maybe its something to do with Playtech itself, because I have never come across this with other software.

I suspect the 3 that you mentioned had some legal/patent issues with Shufflemaster. They were unavailable at many Playtechs.

In short, it's a licensing hiccup accross the board (all Playtech operators). It's being worked on. It also only effects certain countries.

The Slots one is also to do with licensing but in a different manor to the card games. Nothing to do with the player.

    Hope this answers your questions
