Bodog blackjack - house edge under 0.2% ?

There are a few ads/recommendations for Bodog that states they have "two blackjack variants with a house edge under 0.2%"

    http://www.google.com/search?q=%22tw...hl=en&filter=0

Does anyone know which two games those are?

I just called Bodog and asked them.
Very good customer service - answered the phone quickly and the representative even went to the sites and took a look.
But as far as he knew the information was incorrect
Stated their average house edge on blackjack (American and European) is around 0.6%

I guess you got that info from the Wizard of Odds site.
That guy really knows what he is talking about, and only promotes BoDog and no other casinos.
So I was going to suggest asking him... but it seems he is not contactable any more...

Hiya: Actually he is contactable, "i was able to", but it takes time as he is swamped with e mails. And you have to jump thru a couple of hoops to get to him. But it can be done.

    Hi KasinoKing and love2winalot,

    Thanks for the replies

    Yes
I originally found it on the Wizard of Odds site
Also found it almost word for word on pokernews and gambling-gazette.

The guy at Bodog was pretty sure none of their blackjack variants had odds that low.
He even put me on hold for a while to check and then went to the sites and took a look at the ad/recommendation.
He was not sure where they got their information or how old it was.

Thanks for the idea - I will try to contact the Wizard

The under 0,2% is probably some "marketing material" provided by some affiliate manager on crack.

It would have to be a single deck BJ to be that low with "standard rules" and as far as I know RTG has never offered any single deck game (?).

The around 0,6% is correct for their standard BJ. And RTG BJ is fast, you can easily play +1000 hands/hour.

Basically,it's possible to contact Michael Shackleford (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Michael_Shackleford) via email. Some time ago I've emailed him.It took more than a month to get a reply but it made it even more precious

It looks like now it's much easier to catch him in person somwhere in Macau

Don't forget to subscribe to his newsletter, after long break I got a recent issue

Here is the page with HE for Microgaming Classic BJ http://wizardofodds.com/microgaming

Quote:The house edge under the classic blackjack rules, using the total-dependent strategy above, is 0.13%

    But it's MGS single deck...

    For an RTG ??? 0.2???

Could you give a link ? I mean, not just Google search results

There was a post here lately where was oficially stated that despite Bodog SF looks like RTG (and smells like RTG) it is NOT an RTG . On the Wizard's site I haven't found a Bodog SF review.Yet I'm ashamed to say that I never played there.I should try(don't expect a miracle though LOL)

    So..good luck with your research!

    Hi gambblex,

    Thanks for the reply

The Bodog representative stated that as far as he knows this information is INCORRECT and did not know the source where it started.

I guess it is just a typo or something that started on one site, and got picked up by others.

I like the effect which occurs when I click on your last link. And then again..
    And again...

I think a typo crept in Bodog's slogan as well.(GET ,not PLAY)
