Well - Autumn now.

Autumn, and Ladbrokes have served their suspension for poor CS and lack of clarity in their promos, so back for their usual test.

Not a promising start though

Firstly, STILL those damn technical problems getting the casino to install.

Solution, UPDATE THE DOWNLOAD!!!!

It fires up with the OLD SPLASHSCREEN, DAMN THAT'S OLD!!!

It then FAILS to complete the installation, it stalls just before executing "launch casino".

Out with "task manager", and kill the task.

Launch again from Desktop icon. F*** it STALLS at 2%

Launch "task manager" AGAIN and kill casino.

Third time lucky, and old software manages to catch update, and installs to completion. Unlike LAST time, it has at least dropped the "uninstall" option into the start menu. I was UNABLE to uninstall the LAST incarnation because of NO "uninstall" in EITHER the start menu or control panel "add/remove" list.

More trouble, their "Grand Slam" scratchcard DOES NOT WORK IN FIREFOX, it's just a black screen I can't use IE6, because Flash CONSTANTLY causes it to crash, so I have removed it, and only have it in Firefox, where it doesn't seem to work
I have to transfer the link to the gambling PC to play my Grand Slam scratchcard, and unlike the other promos, it CANNOT be reached through the lobby (a shortcoming they could address, even just for more integrated playability).

So far, the few promotions I have qualified for have been credited, and what's this - an IMPROVEMENT Their "promotions department" now seems to work at weekends, so no "wait till Monday" any more it seems, although time will tell.

Too many "technical problems" though, and I will be using that "uninstall" option before Santa comes out to play
