I gave up gambling,
Now all i ever do is make mind bets,
You never bet any real money you only bet in your mind.
The results are fairly good, ive only lost my mind 5 times so far this month
Thanks, zebedy - someone had to be first
We can't comment on behalf of other casinos as they may have different reasons for their software settings, but it occurs to us that we should try to make things as simple and enjoyable as possible for the player.
Naturally we would appreciate any comments, suggestions, criticisms so that we can continue to improve on our offering.

KasinoKing's News < Rival release their first ever 50-line slot.
SIX new softwares to try ~ Reel Layouts and Jackpot Odds ~ New USA Friendly Casinos!
Very few Playtechs will follow suit as many are rogue operators. However, this is a good start nevertheless and as long as the software can do it maybe Bryan could consider setting this as accreditation criteria ie the casino should (as long as the software has this function) disable all disallowed games when a bonus is taken. Actually, I know Rival can do it as Progressives are disabled when certain bonuses are taken and that applies for MG as well since Progressives are locked in Fun Mode. Dont know about RTG though.

Thanks to Chuchu59 and KasinoKing for their kind words!
Actually, it's a bit kludgy. You can still load the game - it's only when the game is loaded that you get a popup indicating that the game is unavailable. It does take time to configure and it's not as flexible as we would like - for example we can't ban all table games except for a particular game (like Wild Viking) - either we ban them all or we allow them all.
That being said, we believe that is still preferable to prohibit certain games/categories as long as you can live with a popup only showing up after the game has been loaded.
Think of it as being similar to demo software - you can play certain parts of the software, but in order to play the other parts you have to purchase the software or earn an unlock - and in our case you simply have to let support know, and the "cost" is that you give up further bonuses.
I don't believe that it is right to force this type of requirement upon other casinos for various reasons, because there are many factors involved and frankly we may discover something wrong with this method, as it is new after allOn the other hand, it might be nice to make this a prerequisite for some sort of a higher "standard".

Klub8,
For me, I cannot play any games now as I am from Hong Kong. I can still download the software still but even if my account isnt locked all games are disabled.
I understand your position but from a player's point of view when taking a bonus, it is imperative that the correct games are played otherwise the casinos will use this as an excuse not to pay. From the casinos' angle, especially the accredited ones, they dont want any fuss with regard to the Terms and Conditions on allowed games for bonuses. Even the clearest of terms have scope for debate. I have seen many a player trying to abuse the bonus especially 100%+ ones and bet the full balance on even money games eg Baccarat or Roulette and then grind out requirements. It is then argued that while the games do not count towards wagering requirements they are still allowed nevertheless. Disabling various games may be somewhat complioated but it should be beneficial to both genuine players and non-rogue casinos.

deposited yesterday, what threw me into confusion is that one game that I did play, very clearly had a Progressive scrolling, I did ask support but they just said eventually, if you can play it, it is fine. I found it all a bit like hard work to be honest.
I started off with $150, and never saw the spins, that could be quite normal, Im not that familiar with this software, I have played it in the past and remember liking the alien game, but that was one unable to be played. I think Ill stick to my normal haunts for now.
Its all great that they are locking out games for bonus purposes, I agree with this system, it doesnt change the fact that my email was ignored until I posted here, and it was responded to with nothing more than corporate lip service, never did answer one of my concerns regarding playthrough, the rep did PM me , if I was not a member here would it have been responded to at all??? Its irrelevant now, I will stick with Bet365, account at Klub8 closed.

Well yes, I'd say it is beneficial - but possibly not practical for many operators. The downside to what we've done is that players have to request their status to be changed - some players will not realize this, or will forget why they can't access other games, and rather than contacting support, they could just stop playing, which of course is not what we want to achieve.
So what we've done should be considered a beta test of sorts - certainly not something I would recommend all operators do.
Hi Sparkles!
Do you remember which game had a progressive scrolling? We're checking all of them individually now but are reasonably certain that networked progressives have been correctly locked. As mentioned in an earlier post, you may actually be able to load the game, but then you will receive a popup that the game is unavailable and you will not be allowed to place a wager.
The game you are referring to is Alien Hunter - it may be that the game is not available because the Dollar Ball progressive side game is available - this is not the intended effect and we are looking into how to resolve this issue as Alien Hunter is a very popular game. Thank you for letting us know.
Again, apologies for the inconvenience - as I am not the one who monitors that particular email address. However, my colleagues actually responded before I made contact with them so I can't take credit for getting it done
As for your stats - I am getting them now and will send you a PM - apologies for the delay as I understood you had already been taken care of.

The game that showed progressive $90000+ scrolling across the top, was called desert something, I think it did have a dollar something about it, as far as Alien Hunter im pretty sure support said it was one not avaliable, though maybe they said that because I said it was unable to be played, I tryed to get into it quite a few times but the same box came up. Not sure if this helps at all.
