thelawnet

just went to do my monthly donation. £50 in, £50 bonus, all gone in £191 wagering on pontoon.

Hahahaha, better results than my last deposit of $100 at InterCasino. I wagered $134, and I'll let you do the math on how many wins I had (and I only increase from $1 to $2 IF I win).

Intercasino is my favorite - but there is DEFINITELY something dodgy with their BJ & Pontoon.
Not surprised by the above crap results.
Give these a miss & try other games - most seem OK.

And your claim that Intercasino's BJ is "dodgy" is based on.....?

My own personal experience - it takes the piss with crazy dealer wins over long (by my standards) runs.
Just broke down my 2005 BJ stats further:-
Intercasino -7.2%
William Hill -2.74%
Both playing the exact same (though not perfect) strategy.

This is just my personal opinion (backed up by the others posts above).
If you are happy with their BJ, fine - good luck to you.
But you wont see me blowing my entire stack on this shite!

Inter can be a rollercoaster some times but it swings both ways. This month a deposited $90, got the $90 bonus and had my comp points redeemed so I started out with $200. Played $10 per hand and 37 hands later I was down to $20!! Put all that one hand, won and lowered my bets to $5. Then things turned around. I started winning and playing just $5 bets took me from $40 to $260 before the wagerrequirements were even finished. Give a bit of back before finishing but still managed to cash out more than $200...

I totally agree - Crypto fluctuates pretty wildly, but you can catch some interesting runs at times. There have been times when I would be on a losing streak, but then I would just stop playing before the losses became too severe. Other times I could run $300 up to almost $1000 in almost no time.

Pontoon can be very volatile. One day you win every time you double down on a hard 16, the other day every time you have pontoon, so has the dealer. The variance feels a lot more than its theoretical value.

My personal nemesis is the Ritz Club. Last month was the first time this year I made a profit there, but only with the help of the bonus. I was comfortably up for a long time then I hit a losing streak just before meeting the WR. Another time I had £50 with just £75 short of the WR, and I managed to bust out. My worst result was when I busted out wagering less than £300.

I played the bonus this month - BJ, 29 hands, $10 a pop - dealer won 20, i won 7, push 2. I don't feel comfortable enough to actually play too much of my own money thats for certain.

Sure, it's a bad run but there are choices out there!

Hi Neighbour! Welcome to the forum!

I have my own (conspiracy) theory about Intercasino, even though it remains my favourite;
Because they want to carry on being able to give 100% bonus every month, but don't want to restrict people from playing Blackjack (well known as the most popular casino game), they have 'tweaked' the odds just a tiny bit in their favour to make it harder for people to just BJ their way through WR with minimal risk. These reduced odds probably only operate while people are doing WR.
I have absolutely no proof of course. No one could ever prove it, and they will never admit it. But no-one can prove they don't do it either!
My advice: Don't play BJ at Intercasino, or at least limit yourself to a maximum loss on it before giving up (say $50-ish). They have plenty of other games that do play fair and that I do very nicely from, thank you!

Good luck!
