Allstar slots are obviously not happy with wizard and their obviously not happy with their turnover and player base with wizard, otherwise they wouldnt be changing. People dont change a successful formula. Since they are it stands to reason.... it isnt.
True. My personal feeling (I don't know any more facts than anyone else), is that All Star got fed up with waiting for Wizard to roll out the next upgrade.
Version 4 was released on March 4th, so they've been waiting for version 5 for over 5 months which is a very long time in the gambling world.

The other problem they may have had is simply not making enough money. As you know, I am an affiliate for All Star and I can tell you the players I bought in won a lot more than they lost! From when I started promoting them until now, all my players combined won $1,280 nett profit from the casino.
Maybe their slots are not a bad as you think!
I 100% want to see more casinos using Wizard software.

I agree it would be nice to see a new software player out there.
Competition is what is needed and what is the main way a software supplier can set itself apart game-play wise?
Slots.
All other table game rules and design are set in stone and only the graphics and presentation differ slightly.
So I expect this is where Wizzard will be concentrating their efforts.
Unfortunately, going by past experience, I do not see them breaking away from using similar methods of calculating returns and control and rationing bonus rounds to the main software players.
Still we live in hope and I do expect to see some innovation in slot design.

As for slot returns they were no better or worse than other software as far as I could tell.
Are you sure those profits were on slots KK?

Good point - no I don't have that detail.
The only other game they have is Blackjack of course - it could possibly have been on that... (?)

How ironic!
All Star now have 2 brand new slots: Groove City & Rocket Girl

You have just 7 days left to play these guys, before they & all the other Wizard games disappear forever...
(I hope I'm wrong... but I doubt it).

Not having a casino to play these new games is a blessing, they suck.....literally, why boast free spins when they are almost impossible to hit, some bonus rounds but even at max bet 20-30x, had bonus spins once in 500 spins on Rocket Girl playing max bet, 3x my bet won . Wizard gonna have to do better than this, people need to win sometimes too.

Sorry you didn't hit more, but very large wins are possible with these new slots. Players have often told us they want high variance, and these new slots and Rocket Girl in particular allow for huge wins.

That can't happen with each round of play, and even 500 spins is ultimately from a math point of view not a huge amount of play.

But these are high variance slots, so if looking for a more conistent win pattern of lower wins, I'd try other of our slots.

As KK pointed out:

The other problem they may have had is simply not making enough money. As you know, I am an affiliate for All Star and I can tell you the players I bought in won a lot more than they lost! From when I started promoting them until now, all my players combined won $1,280 nett profit from the casino.

So players _can_ win on our slots! KK's stats would reflect _all_ his players over _all_ time promoting All Star.

Wizard, I do hope you find a new home soon.

I like how you've participated in this board, sought and USED input from players and rolled out some new games.

Really, the matter of the increasing playthrough requirements if you won with bonus funds (or part bonus funds) and the necessity to keep exiting games to check on your status was the only thing keeping me from playing.

You said that was to be fixed in the next upgrade: Did you get that into V 5.0?

Wizard already answered this question in the thread in Industry Discussions:

They have done this on the two new slots only so far, but will do it on all of then in time.
It does work - hover mouse just above the "Balance" window & you can see the cash & bonus values.

I understand variance, the issue is that if the bonus does not get hit there is no hope on these slots due to the fact that the base game payouts are so low. 500 spins is not a lot of spins, however at an average of a dollar a spin I lose $400 to get 500 spins, I dont know many players that can take these kind of losses in .

Can only say that the potential to win very big is there. For instance on the new slot Rocket Girl, one can win 30 free spins with a 6x multiplier so that can be a mighty large win.

For instance, I was playing in free mode today and on a 250 coin spin did win about 9700 coins on Rocket Girl (from free spins).

I really had only got to about 12 spins or so before I hit that feature.
