    William Hill, shenanigans!

Ok, so I just made the roll over on the £30nd bonus at William Hill, I go to live chat to check on the wagering and to get the bonuses removed on my deposit-so I could claim my winnings.

I knew I had to make a £35 deposit to be able to claim my winnings, but I asked anyway. She told me £40 deposit, so I thought huh, £40 really. It said in the tacs it was £35, then she went yes but if you deposit £40 I will give you a winning game to play in the next 24 hours(complete bull shit IMO)

First of all, she new I just wanted to make the deposit and cash-out. But she tries to get me to make a £40 deposit to play on.

I thought William Hill was a class act, I don't need a chat op telling me to make a £40 deposit because it will make her a happy girl. Even after I said no thanks to the £40 deposit to be told about a lucky game tip, I was offered to make the £40 deposit again.

OMG!! Reps must be getting some kind of bonus for this. Like you could care less if she was happy or not.

Make me a happy player and maybe I would return.

    Shennigans is putting it kindly.

    funny that,

i too had a problem with that same csaino tonight concerning the 30 bonus which i posted here

they too told me £40 deposit... the person was like almost forcing me into depositing £40 saying 40 is a lucky number,

im then told once i do deposit it i can withdraw the no deposit bonus and my deposit... but nup...still cant, when i try to cashout it says that £140 bonuses will be lost if i withdraw, however some of that is in fact the no deposit bonus iv aparantly met wager requirements for.... both live support and email support have told me that i have met the wagering requirements of the bonus and i can cashout it out.... but clearly if i did go through with the cashout id only be paid my £40 deposit and would lose all the rest

what i also dont get with them is they say its a "no deposit" bonus, but the thing is the way iv always used them bonuses is for example, im given a £20 "no deposit bonus" with 20x wagering requirements so thats £400, say i make the WR and have £60 in my account and the max cashout is £100, i can then cashout the full £60 including the original no deposit money

with william hill however from what this poor support has told me i will lose the "no deposit" amount, so if i had £100 in the account after meeting WR, i would only be able to really cash £70 out (of course thats with the "no deposit bonus" taken off which is what they are saying)

i find it disgusting that william hill, 1 of the largest bookmakers/online casinos which has been around for years and is highly respected have all this bullcrap like we have experienced... support team that bullshit telling me iv met the wagering requirements for the no deposit bonus (when i actually havent) just so i make a deposit.... and especially in your case saying about her offering you "TIPS" if you deposit.... thats either an utter load of bullcrap which goes against casino customer support policys i would imagine (and again isnt it rogueish behaviour?? temtping you to deposit with false offers) or if it is fact shes speaking and she does have some unlikely "inside" knowledge and is happy to share this then surely thats a sackable offence. I would guess that its the 1st of the 2

i think some complaint should be investigated with this situation because "tricking" people into making a deposit and lying to customers is not on at any casino let alone at the once reputable william will

Oh dear! I was assured (in person) that William Hills, a fine, upstanding, honest & fair UK bookmakers had taken over Cpays, a dodgy, pushy, conniving resident of Roguesville, and that everything would be above board.
Now it's beginning to look MUCH more like the take over went the other way.

I have had dealings with their enforced live chat myself, so I know they are VERY pushy. What LOOKAWAY posted above confirms that and in fact takes it to an even lower level!

I think WH are heading towards the Rogue pit...!

Will Hill may have taken on more than it bargained for with its Playtech "purchased assets" and if it is not very careful its reputation could be dented further.

Ok I asked the chat op if I needed to send in ID etc for my cashout, I was told yes a deposit verification form would be sent to me-for me to fill out and my ID and utility bill etc to be sent in.

As I did not receive this by email, I emailed support and asked again.
It looks like they are reviewing my account by the looks of there reply, and also they said not to send this info in.

This just makes me wonder what the frick is going on

Here are the two replies they sent>
    .................................................. .................................................. .
    Dear Timothy,

This is Aileen from the William Hill Casino Club Support Team.

We are unsure as to what you are asking in your email. If you could rephrase
your question, we will be happy to help you.

On the other hand, Timothy, your withdrawal request of £160.00 via NETeller is
in a pending status and the department concerned is reviewing your account. You
will be notified once information is available.

    Good day.

that you will be notified once information is available.

We ask for your patience and understanding in this matter, Timothy.

Aileen was the 1 who i last spoke to via email, she was the 1 that said:

"Upon careful review of your account, you already met the wagering requirements
for the £30.00 Sign-Up Bonus you have received.

Kindly note, you have received £60.00 bonus for your first deposit. If you
wish to cash out your Sign-Up Bonus winnings, we suggest that you do not play
with your funds and immediately request for a withdrawal once you login. If
you play with your funds, the wagering requirement for the First Deposit Bonus
you have received will be applied in your account and the system will not allow
you to cash out unless you have met the said requirement."

again they too are giving me the "runaround", because iv mentioned to them lots of times that if i try and withdraw the bonus winnings + my deposit them im told i will lose all of the money except £40 (my deposit)

i could well make a PAB concerning this matter, after all some casinos have recieved rogue status for less than this

completely agree there, someone from WH should indeed explain this because its neither the way people should be treated at a casino nor the way in which people expect their cashouts to be dealt with

2 threads having similar complaints concerning this same casino is not doing them any favours becasue for the sake of under £300 (mine and LOOKAWAY's withdraw requests combined) this could be detering a load of people from playing/joining there and maybe lose triple that amount in possibly player deposits

LOOKAWAY - just wondering, for you did they tell you once you had met wagering requirements that you can only withdraw winnings as such minus the £30 ND bonus (for example,if your balance including the ND after meeting WR was £100, but they said your only allowed to cashout £70?)
