    Lock out

Just wondering if everyone is locked out, or certain Countries/States? My lockout doesn't make sense to me because I already had my docs approved. What further is there to verify?

I really understand the newness, and start up problems and all of that, I just hate to have sent all of my personal info. to somewhere that all of a sudden denies me access to the site.

I would advise caution. It MAY be that they suspect something deeper, even something along the lines of what happened at Rushmore. The Rushmore fraudsters seemed to go to alot of trouble, and are NOT going to stop at Rushmore, they are going to look for further victims to try it on.
It seems Grande Vegas are being ultra cautious in some cases, even locking accounts when documents have initially been approved so as to make further checks.
The Rushmore fraudsters stole, and then used, valid identities, so any documents submitted would have looked fine until something started to feel "wrong" about the pattern of registrations, and they started investigating a number of accounts.

Until there is further clarification about this locking of accounts even when documents have been approved, AND they have addressed the lack of withdrawal options, I am going to avoid them.

I avoided GoWild at first after seeing the "meltdown", but after a couple of months, they managed to pull themselves together, and I play there regularly, and so far the "revolution" has been working fine.
I would expect Grande Vegas to be fine after a couple of months to sort out these initial problems.

It seems MANY casinos have problems when they first launch, so many management teams are "dropping the ball" by launching before they are ready and able to service the players they attract. The danger is that the first discusson threads about these new operations tend to be negative, and put off other players from joining, as well as ensuring some players who tried them out are so disappointed that they don't return.

Interesting, I wonder if this was a sort of "soft launch" where they used us as guinea pigs knowing that problems could be ironed out with the help of Casinomeister. They are obviously not ready for prime time, as the lack of withdrawal options clearly indicates. That being said, I'm sure things will get sorted out and the Meister is keeping a close eye on things!

So you think GoWild have the goods now? I havent been back after the problems I had when they opened as there doesnt seem to be too much good press around.

I'll dig out a GoWild thread and elaborate on this, but for me, so far so good - but I did avoid them for a couple of months when they had all the launch problems.
Hopefully, it will be the same with Grande Vegas.

As for this "soft launch" thing, it seems there are quite a few casinos using players as Guinea pigs to find out the problems, rather themselves having a good look through beforehand. With Grande Vegas, some of the problems were so obvious that they should have been sorted out without the need for field testing. Withdrawal is one of the main ones, get this wrong, and bad press is guaranteed. Another is messing players around with ID checks, make it at least LOGICAL, else we are wondering what is going on behind the scenes. A few players got stung by the Rushmore investigation, they were innocent, but were snared up for 3 months - the slightest sign that another casino is saying "all is fine" up front, but doing some "investigating" behind the scenes on some players is going to scare away others thinking of playing there now.
I joined Rushmore, not at once, but before the sh1t hit the fan about the UK being one of the countries caught up in the fraud. I saw it being claimed that EVERY withdrawal was on hold at the time, and this ensured that for now, my first deposit has been my only one.
I would be that bit more wary of another casino locking accounts, since traditionally a locked account has been seen as an accusation (usually a suspicion) that the player has done something wrong, and is under investigation. IF Grande Vegas are locking accounts as part of ROUTINE verification, they should make this perfectly clear, so that players do not worry, and we don't worry when we hear of it.

I call it "baptism by fire".

I am 100% sure that everything will be sorted. Yes, it was a soft launch and admittedly so, perhaps they should have waited a few more days since not all the processing is in place yet. Neteller and Moneybookers should be up soon - if not already. The coded processing was meant to be up during the launch, but it wasn't quite fully functional.

You're not really guinea pigs, it's just that you are the first and as most of us know, you won't know some is broken unto a problem surfaces

So perhaps we have a new category in the Accredited Section "BbF - I know they're good to go, but they have some creases to iron out." The bottom line is that players will receive fair treatment with any issue they have - whether it's good or bad. That I'm sure of.

I definately agree with this. I won a progressive once at Paddy Power and had my account locked quite soon afterwards while they did security checks. It was only locked for one night but they didn't contact me first to tell me they were going to do it so it worried me greatly!
