huh...Casino Action is their new casino too. Well, good for whoever won, I've pumped a few bucks into that jackpot! I've gotten about 10 spins in all the time I've played, twice I got 3rd prize and the rest were 4th. The worst was hitting a spin when I was playing $2.00 a pop and won $8. The best was $249 betting 25 cents.

Mega Moolah was hit on Saturday around 5:15 PM London time, but it didn't necessarily happen at Casino Action.

If you look at the press release headline again, it says "Mega Moolah hits 6.3 Million Dollars at CasinoAction.com."

It "hits" 6.3 million, as in, "Mega Moolah has reached this amount, that's a lot of money, so come play it now at Casino Action, plug, plug, link, link...."

I think the timing of the press release is an interesting coincidence, that's all.

I don't know where the hit actually happened yet, but if I find out, I'll be back with the answer.

I think Dave is right - this coincides with a publicity push on Mega Moolah now that it is approaching the 6.4 mill mark and new record levels for progressives.

There have been several press releases from MGS-powered casinos on this theme, and this is probably another confusingly worded example.

I haven't seen any other references to this so far, although we have a query in with MGS which I hope will bring forth a definite answer come Monday.

Edited to add that I hope that when this huge jackpot is finally won, the casino responsible bears in mind that it is the player's good fortune that should be celebrated and not the casino that should be front-and-centre.

Too often we read press releases crowing about a good win and telling us very little about how the win unfolded, the player's thoughts and his or her plans for the future etc - that's the really interesting part, not the casino's over-hyped virtues. The casino publcity people too often seem to forget that.
