    A non-gambling thread

I've been a member here at casinomeister for almost two years, but have very few posts. There are members here who have only been here a short time, but have racked up many posts. And there are members, like myself, who have been here a long time with a small smattering of posts. There are several members here who I enjoy reading what their opinions/views are on various topics. (I won't name names as I wouldn't like to hurt feelings.) If I see a posting by one of my "favored" members I have a tendency to go right to that thread to see what their take is, even though I may not be interested in the main discussion. I hope that I am adult enough to be able to agree to disagree with any member here without being made to look the fool. I've noticed in several threads where members have asked for the opinions of members with, lets say, over 100 posts. What makes this relevant?

I would like to thank the ones who take the time to figure out odds on the slots and who take the time figure out when a slot isn't playing right. I am way too lazy to try to figure this stuff out myself. I would also like to thank the majority who try to help the newbies and the oldsters play in favorable conditions. It shows humanity is still alive and kicking, for a bunch of virtual strangers to care about protecting others.

Also, I would like to thank Bryan and the rest of the mods here at casinomeister for putting in the time they do. Hours and hours of reading, updating, and "listening" for no monetary rewards. When I was a newbie here I PAB'd, Max was very helpful as it was for a rogue casino. I think, and this is just my opinion, that everyone here has had a run-in with a rogue casino at some point in their online gambling "careers" (whether anyone wants to publicly admit it or not). CM has a lot of "children" here to keep on the straight and narrow. It can be a difficult task to raise your younguns correctly. You're doing a great job so far, keep up the good work!

It's likely, at somepoint in the future, that I will make an error in judgement concerning some casino, bonus issue or whatever. But I am glad I have a place to go where real people will care enough to help me get back on the right track. Thank you to all the CM members for taking the time to share and care!

I just hope you remember that caring comes in all shapes and sizes, lol. Some here prefer the velvet glove approach, some prefer the sledgehammer treatment. No names mentioned to protect the guilty, and yes, I'm pleading the fifth.

    Nice post Ksech.....thanks for that.

LOL Thank you, I'll remember that

A posters remarks can be taken differently by each person who reads a comment. It's not like we are talking face to face, so we cannot hear the inflection in ones voice. To err is human and, I believe, as far as the human race goes, we are prone to look more at the negative than at the positive.

And we often forget that it is important to give a pat on the back and to say thank you. Most times, and again this is just my opinion, we take for granted that others know we care.

So whatever it takes to help protect each other, whether it be velvet gloves or the sledgehammer approach, everyone should be aware it is being done because we care.

Hiya: Great Topic. Sometimes people tend to forget that the Casino is the Enemy, and not our fellow players. The Name of the game is to Have Fun, and maybe make a buck or two while we are at it.

I don't know if any of that praise is aimed at me or not, but it is nice to hear from anyone that my many hours slaving over a steaming PC to produce that slots data is appreciated!
    (Sorry if I'm being presumptuous).
Of course I am an affiliate, but I was a player first and still am; I gamble at online casinos every day (sad isn't it! ) and so I like to think I always see the players perspective and I always do all I can to help anyone.

    Great post!
I also see the casinos as the enemy, but in a friendly way if you see what I mean.
Like playing a game of pool with a mate - you want to beat him, but it doesn't mean you hate him!
I just love the challenge of trying to meet the WR terms of a bonus and come out on top.
    (So far, so good!)
