I have been spammed by them but it was the deceptive nature of the email that made me pay attention.
It stated there was Beta test of the site and that if I took part i could win with the money they gave me to test.
That money was simply the sign up free money to try and win a bonus, absolutely no different from just signing up.
Worse still if you follow the link it gives a fake count down of places left for Beta testers to try and pressure you into signing up.
If that is their idea of a good marketing campaign for a new Casino then I don't think I will be signing up.
Just another example of MG's slipping standards.
This seems to be their style, a previous marketing campaign was offering fake cheques, with "you have won a cheque for .... from the write a cheque committee". All it was? the standard MGS free play offer. Check the fine print though, this is not REALLY you being let loose with $1250 of their cash, it is simply "fun money" loaded into the free play flash lobby, and you get an hour to make a profit. No doubt, the profit will be limited to some miserly amount.
Since they bought out the bankrupt Casino Action group (TUSK Investments), they presumably also have the rights to the name, and have now decided the time is right to use it for a Europe focused casino.
Since I am one of their VIPs, I may try it out in a while, since I am highly unlikely to run into any problems related to "bonus abuse", or ID issues.
The Malta license allows them to fully advertise the casino into the UK, and much of the EU, something the Kahnawake license does not (rejected for whitelisting).
The SPAM is a bit odd though, coming as it does during the BETA phase, when there is unlikely to be an affiliate offering to draw in the usual excuse of "it was a rogue affiliate, we will have a word......"
Malta have this habit of giving out "letters of intent", and expect casinos to build a player base up before they are granted a full gaming license. There is nothing to say whether players are protected to the same degree as for a casino with a full license, and my suspicion is that Malta are using PLAYERS rather than "due diligence" to assess whether a casino should be granted a full license. This one should be OK though, being part of Casino Rewards.
If you already have accounts at other CR casinos, make a small deposit at one of these WITHOUT a bonus before trying this new one - this is one of their little traps in the small print, the other is using Autoplay to meet WR on a bonus, not allowed.
