Some of these Rivals really do not want you to win. On a few of them it seems if I win and cashin they punish you with stopping the free money and no longer give you matching bonuses.

i know thats right. I made a cashout a few months ago only to go back a couple of days later to find my free chip and match bonuses (the good ones) gone. All that was left was a 15% match. In a way I felt kinda good. Did they recognize my superior slot skills? LOL

Wow I can get all this if I want.

Well not exactly, whenever I have had cashins at microgaming casinos I play, they always give me 100 percent matching bonus. As far as all the bonuses at slotto cash , they give me free money sometimes and weekly 100 percent match and the constant reloads with 25 and 35 percent. I have won like almost 9000 at that casino and just started playing there a few months ago so I can understand why I do not get as much bonuses there as you do. I am talking about Lion slots I have had some wins these passed few weeks not huge ones but now they stopped the V.I.P Gold free money and matching bonuses.

I think in the most part No Casino wants you to win.
They are in it to make money not to give it away.
It's not just any Rival casino It's most all the casino's.

So vote with your money. If there are Rivals that still offers bonuses to you play at them. And when they bonusban you its time to look for other softwares.

Thanks your right. Rival is the only casino I have played to stop bonuses when you win. I play many other casinos for years on line and never had this done to me except with Rival.

I recently became a VIP Gold member at Lion Slots, and since becoming I have not recieved any free chips, not one. I recieve my 15% cashback, but no free n/d bonuses, and I have deposited more now than I ever did before, I have 40-50 deposits in the last 30 days, maybe 10 withdrawals, but I am still not up. I thought for sure I would get something, I used to get free $15 every friday, now I get nothing.

Hiya: There is an Ol saying here in Vegas.

"A Loser will bring one person to the Casino. A Winner will bring a Hundred".

Go to any Local casino, and what do you see? The Wall plastered with all the Winners holding up all the money they won. You don't see Pictures of people waling out with their empty wallet. Or a Picture of the line at the ATM Machine.

imhop: On Line casino's need to do a better Job promoting Winners. I would even have it in the TOS that your screen name may be used for advertising as they see fit. "within reason".

Hell, Casinomeiser has a, Winners Pic section. If I was a Casino rep on this board i would have the same type of thing, on any Gaming boards they are a part of.

Not much of a reader of T & C then.;)

Many go FURTHER, saying your PICTURE can be used for "promotional purposes" should you win big.

When I won that trip to Berlin & the 2006 World Cup Final, part of the terms for the competition was that I had to give a kind of "diary" of the experience, with a few pictures, which they would, and did, use on their "winners" section of the website. They wanted at least one picture of ME, which I could select myself, as the centrepiece. It is the picture that is in my user profile, enjoying a "weissbier" at Lorettas just next to our hotel. (Bet that makes CM salivate for a few:D)

Speaking of Winners..... I forgive them for not giving me any matching buses or free money...LOL
Last night I went in there and had 4 cashins a total of 2000 dollars.

UPDATE

Since I won the 2000 every Rival casino except slotto cash has stopped and or taken away all my bonsues. All my Rivals say " Promotions not available" I never heard a casino doing this except Rival but on all of them that I play, is crazy. I deposit a couple of hundred a few times a week, if not every other day in those casinos. Also, I know slotto has a different customer service but I saw on line that all the other Rivals are owned by one company. I thought they were seperate casinos. No matter the Rule is, if you win, you can't get any bonsuses! Thats ok as long as I am winning then bonuses are not that important. But I do love that free money.

Speaking of Winners..... I forgive them for not giving me any matching buses or free money...LOL

So stupid.

The ONLY way they are going to get that $2000 back is to encourage you to deposit again and again.....so someone at Rival obviously thought "Well the way to keep them playing and get our money back is to ban them from any further promotions and really p*ss them off - they will come back and deposit even more!!".

Now clj7221 will probably just take their $$$ elsewhere and one of Rivals' competitors will get the action.

Yup thats Making Money 101.

My Thought Exactly! I played so much because of the bonuses. This is certainly not a way to keep my business. It is not exciting to play Rival anymore when you get so use to the bonsues and now they just all stop. I will stick with slotto cash since they are the only rival who gives me bonuses and will go back to playing microgaming again.

Nice to you posting Nicolas. What I cannot understand is why the casino keeps ignoring my numerous emails and live chat requests to get my play logs. Not even replying when a dozen requests have been made is plain rude. You can check out the emails from chuchu59 to your casino if you want and pm me with your findings.

YES YES YES!!!

A Rival casino that LISTENS!!

:notworthy :notworthy :notworthy

Your casino stocks just went right up in my book :)

Does anyone know of any Rival that tells you your payout percentage, wagering etc. (not any Bonne Chance)

Just closed my Slotocash account as they refused to even tell me my spins, let alone my payout%. Wouldnt have been a problem if they had a decent game history like Cryptos Log Viewer.

So far all Rivals have been huge disappointments. I actually like some of the games but not the casinos.

I'm sorry.....but there are red flags everywhere for me as far as Rival goes. I could type a whole page long post itemizing what's wrong...but why bother?

Highlights:

They're being sued for 1/2 million dollars for breach of contract. Not settled yet, and while nothing has been proven in a court of law, the plaintiffs allege that the reason that the owners of Rival (aka Gaming Solutions/Black Chip) wished to terminate the contract was that they were experiencing financial difficulties.

They don't pay out progressive wins in one lump sum, as any reputable casino should do. Progressive monies do not belong to the casino, they belong to the players. It is the players who fund the progressive jackpots, and those funds should be kept separate and should be paid out in full when a jackpot is won. No reason in the world a progressive should be paid in installments.

There has been more than one thread posted on various forums about absolutely ridiculous daily and weekly withdrawal limits being imposed on some players....as low as $500 in some cases. I won't post links here, but I have them if anyone is interested in reading. No valid reason has been forthcoming that I have read.

Over the last two years, there have been delays in withdrawal processing off and on. In some cases, long delays. Players have been told that it's processor problems. Just speculation on my part, but when your Neteller or Moneybookers merchant account is underfunded, that usually poses a problem for the processor.

And then we have all this bonus banning of anyone who has the audacity to initiate a cashout after winning a bit. While they are certainly within their rights to deny bonuses to anyone they wish....the message that this sends out, coupled with the above, sure doesn't instill any confidence in me.

And last but not least, the continual parade of glitches in their software...and now more than one player posting that they are unable to access or retrieve any sort of playlogs. Those should be available to any player, at any time. Maybe not at their fingertips, but they should be able to obtain them if they so desire.

I had such high hopes for this software when it first came online. But all of the above things just scream at me that this is an operation that "may" be operating on a shoestring. I am glad that they have bowed out of Canada, I think they have done all us Canadians a huge favour. I had already stopped playing there about a year ago, as I started having doubts then. Nothing I've seen in the last year has changed my mind.

Fair points Pina :)

Nicolas - On a Vegas Regal only note, the main thing that I dont like about them is their deposit bonus terms.

This is the latest:

Get a 250% bonus on your next deposit!
Minimum deposit: $25 Maximum bonus amount: $2500.
30x (deposit+bonus) playthrough
Playthrough is the amount that must be wagered (put at risk) before you may cashout. It is a multiple of your deposit or a multiple of your deposit plus the bonus. For example, "20x deposit" on a deposit of $100 means playthrough is $2000. "20x deposit + bonus wagering" on a deposit of $100 with a bonus of $100 means playthrough is $4000.

Unless otherwise stated, 1 credit wagered in a game counts as 1 credit toward playthrough requirements. Play at the following games, and any variants, does not count towards playthrough requirements and winnings may be considered null and void: Slot Progressive. Play at the following games, and any variants, count toward playthrough requirements at a reduced rate: Roulette (1/4) Blackjack (1/10) RedDog (1/4) Baccarat (1/10) PaiGow (1/10) War (1/4) ThreeCard (1/4) LetItRide (1/4) Craps (1/10) DoubleUp (1/10) CaribStud (1/4)
Bonus money is not withdrawable. The bonus will be deducted from your next withdrawal.
If your balance is less than the amount of the bonus you will not be able to withdraw.
A maximum cashout of 5 times the bonus applies. A maximum cashout applies. For example, if you receive a $10 bonus and the maximum cashout is 10x the bonus your maximum cashout is $100. Any balance remaining after your cashout will be removed from your account.
A maximum cashout applies. For example, if you receive a $10 bonus and the maximum cashout is 10x the bonus your maximum cashout is $100. Any balance remaining after your cashout will be removed from your account.

Any funds over the maximum cashable amount will be removed automatically on cashout.
The following games and any variants may have different table limits while this promotion is active: Roulette, Blackjack, RedDog, Baccarat, PaiGow, War, ThreeCard, LetItRide, Craps, DoubleUp, CaribStud, Slot Progressive
Your table limits may change while this promotion is active.

Valid from 2009-04-09 00:00:00 to 2009-04-17 23:59:59. Promotion may be expired by casino at any time.
The casino's general terms and conditions apply.

I just dont like the 5x max cashout.

The WR is already 30xD+B which is pretty tough to beat anyway, and the bonus is non-withdrawable.

Personally I would rather be offered a 150% or 125% bonus with those WR but NO max cashout....OR at least make the max cashout 10xB. The other restrictions are already tough enough. I know the casino has to make money, but accepting a bonus shouldnt be a death sentence for your deposit.

I hope Nicolas takes this on board and at least offers some lower % bonuses without some of these harsh limits...and based on his past responses Im sure he will :)

Let's be honest - that's totally crap isn't it!
Bonus x 60 and it's phantom; Rival casinos really have lost the plot haven't they?

I started a thread about how poor Rival bonuses are about a month back. For some reason it didn't attract much attention, so here it is again!

Quoting me:-
I haven't deposited at one Rival casino yet this year because I hadn't been aware of any decent follow-on bonuses.
(i.e. Not first deposit bonuses)
What I call decent is on a level par with Microgaming; B x 30, cashable, no max cash-out.

So I decided to go through all the Rivals I have installed & analyse exactly what is on offer to me!
What I found was pretty poor - only one offer better than MG, one the same and 23 worse - some much worse!
What has happened to SlotoCash??? I used to have 5 or 6 good bonuses to chose from - now just 2, and one of those is for an alternative deposit method... :eek2:
Superior now lead the field in this department - they have loads of offers!

Notes:
To compare bonuses I only go by how many times you have to turn over the bonus amount - it's largely irrelevant to me how much the deposit or the % is.
I did not take account of any games other than slots being allowed in WR.
All figures stated are based on taking the maximum bonus amount.
Any Rivals not listed I have either not joined yet or I have only taken the free-chip offers and so they are offering a first deposit bonus (which is generally a lot better than the follow-ons).
A lot of the bonuses do seem a little better than earlier in the year - I didn't see any with a minimum cash-out of more than B x 1.
I put all the phantom ones at the bottom - might as well deposit without a bonus if you're playing slots!
Disclaimer; I can't guarantee the table is 100% accurate - even I make mistakes sometimes!

What do you guys think - are these bonuses poor, or OK?
Are you seeing better bonus offers?
(I'm in the UK - other countries might have different offers)
Some of these casinos have lost the plot, haven't they?

Below are my findings;
I hope it might help others decide where to play & might encourage some casinos to make better offers...
Well... I can hope can't I? ;)

KK,

You might wish to add the ones which have a min 1x cashout requirement. It seems that sloto has recently joined the parade of casinos with high WRs and to deter you from cashing out even that little bit the bonuses are both phantom with a min. 1x cashout. So if you deposit $100 and finish with $60 you cant cash out and cannot claim another bonus unless you zero out and nor can you cash this bit out even if you make an extra deposit. Ah, trying to squeeze every single cent from the players.

Get a 250% bonus on your next deposit!
Minimum deposit: $25 Maximum bonus amount: $2500.
30x (deposit+bonus) playthrough

What I call decent is on a level par with Microgaming; B x 30, cashable, no max cash-out.

yeah, but you could hardly get more then 100% at MG.
So i don't think its really that unfair if they give 250% or more... i rarely take MG bonuses but often take(took) Rivals and RTG because they extend play time.

I am not a bonus expert but this is my opinion... may be i m wrong

Thank you guys,

The comments here are very useful for us.

I'll be sure that our next bonuses include 3 types:

1- High Bonus & High Restrictions
2- Mid Sized Bonus & Mid Sized Restrictions
3- Small Bonus & Small Restrictions

If you have any other issues, please be sure to let me know, I am very grateful for the users posting and to Meister for this wonderful platform.

Same here I became V.I.P Gold about 6 weeks ago and every week getting the 100 percent match 50 percent and the free money no deposit ones plus the 15 percent cash back. Then I had a cashin and it all stopped.

I had that happen at SimonSays. I played bc I had won from there but noticed I got no bonus offers and couldn't hit nothing so I uninstalled and I'm checking out a new rival now. I'm very leery of putting any sizeable amount in a rtg or rival casino.

Here is another doosie I just received:

Get a 200% bonus on your next deposit!
Minimum deposit: $25 Maximum bonus amount: $200.

Oh dear.

This one is from Vegas Regal

This one is from Vegas Regal

Old Attachment (Invalid)

These terms are just absolutely ludicrous !! and this comment comes from one of your affiliates here Nicolas. Look at this from one of your players perspectives:

Lets say I just deposit the minimum of $25 X 300% = $75 bonus, so I start playing with $100 now at a 30X (deposit + bonus) wager requirement which = $3,000 to meet playthru. Lets say that I actually manage to accomplish this then I am off to cash out my huge winnings right...WRONG!!

Now since the bonus is non cashable that means that it will be removed from my cashout max of $300 which is 4X the bonus amount of $75 as the terms state...then that leaves me with the giant cashout of $225.00 after I have managed to meet these ridiculous playthru terms of $3000!

And another note in those terms there above...where is the one mention of "Videopoker" and whether it can be played or not ??

Who is writing this stuff and What are you guys smoking over there my friend?? :p

The latest Rival is one of the worst. When I downloaded it and saw the bonus multipliers I was surprised. 25 percent bonus 25 multiplier, I expect that at higher bonuses so I un-installed it A.S.A.P.

Anyway, I would like a rep to come on here and explain why after my win at Lion slots, All the bonuses stopped and ones that were there all of a sudden gone at every Rival I play?

When I called the casinos or mailed them I get the same B.S. reply, I have it copied and pasted

" Regrettably, a number of factors have led to our automated security system flagging your account as bonus ineligible. I am sorry to inform you but the casino reserves the right to deny promotions to anyone, without disclosing the reason why. You may still play for Fun or for Real without promotions. Continuous play can result in your account becoming eligible for promotions again. "

They are so full of it! I have been playing on line casinos for years and have never been " Red Flagged" for anything. They certainly did not find any " Red Flag" concerns when they got the hundreds I have been depositing at their casinos every day if not every other day. Once you win anything at these casinos, thats it your in trouble and they will never give you a bonus again. My husband has some of them in his name he plays ( no we do not have multiple accounts I have a few Rivals I play in my name and he has some other he plays in his name ) They stopped all of his bonuses to after my win. They even stop the bonus points you get for playing as well. I think a rep should get on here and answer to this but then again who knows what help they will be if they want to keep this bull going on.. Whatever idiot running the Rivals should take a course on Marketing for Dummies. Because they will continue to loose business and any good reputation they have left. How do they think they will get any money back from my win? I will not play there again and any win money I play back will go in to Microgaming casinos.

Hey guys, there is a loophole here. If you only have bonus money left in your account after meeting WRs you can bet the whole lot on table games since these are allowed and you have near to a 50:50 chance to win.

clj, I sorta think that the Rivals show disrespect to the players by saying they have the right to deny promotions. Though this is true, I dont have the same feeling for RTG or MG casinos because they dont do it in a blanket way ie cutting off the whole lot. You have a feeling of being despised. There was a thread several months ago where a player who was supposed to have a monthly cashback suddenly had this cancelled after he had lost several thousand quid. I believe that they should have honoured the cashback until they notified the player that he was no longer eligible for it but they obviously thought otherwise and did not allow the cashback.

Hi ChuChu,
Yes I agree it truly is a disrespect to have bonuses all of a sudden taken away because you had a win. It is a slap in the face considering how much money I played at these casinos. I did not know Rival punishes there players for winning until now. The Microgaming casinos I play have always been great to me after I would have a win. After I would get it flushed they would be sending me free money and bonuses.( It's the diplomatic way to get their money back) I have been playing on line casinos ever since they came out and never had never had a casino take away bonuses and also take all of them away from every one of their casinos I play and even the one's my husband plays at as well.

Is there no one besides myself who thinks that these casinos may be having financial difficulties? Those bonus offers seem solely designed to garner deposits, with very little to no hope of ever cashing out on them. So come and deposit, and play...but sorry, you can't win. This sure seems like alot more than just mismanagement, IMO anyway.

Seeing as Nicholas is quite active on the forum (which is appreciated).....is there any chance he could possibly address the Progressive Jackpots issue I raised in my previous post? Forget the other issues (lawsuit, bonuses, intermittent withdrawal delays and withdrawal limits, etc). I would just like to hear a plausible explanation, or any explanation, as to why progressive wins are not paid out in full at the time they are won. What is Rival doing with that money that is supposed to be "set aside" to pay these jackpots? Thanks.

Not really sure about that one way or the other, but I can tell you this...I have several players who have about 4 of my Rival affiliate accounts turned way upside down for the past three months that have been playing with the bonuses and making big cashouts, like over $2 -$3 thousand at a time type cashouts and all of them are getting paid within Rivals stated time-line of 2-5 days.

Agreed, good point

A few weeks ago I wote asking about why I stopped getting the cashback. This is the reply they mailed me.

'Dear
Following up on your email.Your account did not qualify for certain regular promotions this week like the cashback that normally credits only on lost deposits. When a cashout is made, the deposits were not lost deposits and thus certain promotions for losses will not activate. Thank you for understanding. If you have any further questions, please don't hesitate to contact us again. Sincerely,Lion Slots Customer Service

The bonus is not deducted from the 4x bonus max cashout unless your balance is less than 5x bonus. With your example: If your balance is 375 or higher you will be able to cash out 300.

I know because I did a similar bonus recently.

Ok I'll buy that, but it still sucks to the high heavens though when you are only able to cash out 10% of your required playthru

Hi Guys,

Wow, this thread has been busy. Let me try to answer the questions posed here:

These terms are just absolutely ludicrous !! and this comment comes from one of your affiliates here Nicolas. Look at this from one of your players perspectives:

And another note in those terms there above...where is the one mention of "Videopoker" and whether it can be played or not ??

Who is writing this stuff and What are you guys smoking over there my friend?? :p

Oh, common now RobWin, with all due respect, I think you are being unfair. Our 300% bonus is not the only offer we have. New depositors also have the option of a 100% Bonus up to $1,000, 35x Play through, no max, fully cashable. Not many HONEST casinos offer such generous bonuses.

We provide both options to different types of players. There are players who don't mind having high restrictions, so we give a high bonus to them (I'm sure you know they exist).

For players that like less restrictions, we give less bonus. We try to satisfy everyone and I think by offering both types we do a pretty good job at it. As an affiliate, I think you will see our player conversion rates speak highly of what players think of our casino.

I would comment on this, but since the casino has been named, it would be unprofessional of me to chime in. I can comment on people talking about an anonymous situation with a casino (like the What if this were you thread), but once the casino has been named, that is for the casino at hand to deal with.

Thanks.

No we are not having financial difficulties, on the contrary. And I seriously doubt Rival would have any, after all, their business is booming, especially with all the other software providers pulling out of the US market (look at the amount of new Rivals opening). I honestly don't have an answer as to why it isn't paid out in one lump sum, but I can say that I will contact Rival to make the suggestion that it would be nice to change, and point them to this thread. The bonuses I can change, but Rival software policy is out of my hands, the most I can do is suggest and draw attention to an issue.
I hope I didnt miss any messages. Let me know if you have any further questions.

The only decent reply I had about no more bonuses is from Paradise8 casino. They stated they can't understand why I should not get bonuses but it is not there casino who stopped it, it is Rival who did it to all of my accounts. She said she wants to check in to it and get back to me. Everyone else just mailed me what I posted about " Security alerts on my account" security alerts mean you won more then we want you to even though it was not anything near a jackpot. Anyway so far the rep here did not reply to any of my posts. I will mail him.

Thanks Nicolas for replying to this thread. I honestly love Vegas Regal casino, and I take advantage of all the huge promotions. I love being able to bet high, or being able to play for longer than 10 minutes on a $25 deposit. I welcome all huge promotions to my account. Every once in awhile, I like taking the smaller promos, and being able to meet playthru faster. But I am just one of those people who love to "just play."

I'm so sorry, I didn't mean to ignore your post. I didn't realize you had this issue with our casino (you mention a Rival, but I didn't notice it was with all/ours). I'll check your account and get back to you via PM in less than 12 hours, per our private communiation.

Hi Nicolas,

Thanks very much for the reply, it really is appreciated. I realize it's not always an easy thing to take on tough questions.

I wasn't really looking for an answer to the financial difficulties question...as no business would ever publicly admit to being underfunded. It would be professional suicide. And booming business doesn't always mean alot either....Casino Action had numerous casinos, had been around for years and then one day...boom, out of the blue, bankrupt. So it happens.

But anyway.....won't dwell on that. If you could approach Rival and find out about the progressives, I would really appreciate it. I just can't come up with one single logical or valid reason why a Progressive shouldn't be paid in one lump sum. It's not money that's coming out of the casino's everyday "float" or coffers. It's money that has accrued from each spin of a slot, and that should be in a totally separate fund. It just makes no sense to me.

I do realize that you have nothing to do with policy, and trust me..I'm not trying to put you on the spot. It's just that you're here, and seem willing to tackle some issues at least, so I thought it might be worth asking you directly. Any feedback you could get out of them would be great.

Again, thanks for the reply.

Don't be sorry this was my fault. I just realized that the casino your with I do not play. Thanks though.

Don't worry, I never felt you put me on the spot, if anything I did that. And I did, because you are asking a valid question that should be answered with a valid answer :)

As I said, I don't know why, but I will try and find out. I also agree that it should be paid in one lump sum, so I will be suggesting they change that. How much attention I receive, I don't know; after all, this is Rival policy, not the casino's policy which I can help get changed much more easily.

No need to apoligize, I'm here for you and the community :)
