Different casinos have different Terms and Conditions, and sometime different Terms and Conditions from promotion to promotion. The people to ask are Casino Support...and ask in writing, either via live chat or by email, so you have a copy of their answers. If you don't understand their answers, or don't think they are correct as you interpret the Terms and Conditions, ask some more, and block and copy from the T&C's to clarify your position. CS are sometimes incorrect, and it may be difficult to have management support a CSR's error if it is against their policy.
Sometimes all games except slots may be disallowed, or games are not restricted, but will not count towards your playthrough. If you are found to be using a bonus "not in the spirit it is meant" you may find your winnings nullified.
Even after completing a playthrough requirement, you may have to abide by the promotions terms until you zero out or withdraw your winnings (This is true at Inetbet at least).
And remember, offers that sound too good to be true usually are, or at least not what they may appear to be on the surface.

That's just what comes out of my head as I go along. I'm either giving the slot some serious abuse for being so tight, or myself some serious abuse for being such a dumb-ass by getting to impatient and not sticking to my 'plan', or playing a slot I know full well is shite...!
There's nearly always loads of 'colourful' words on my spreadsheets - that's the only thing I edit out when I post them!
In the vast majority of casinos: FALSE!
As Jasmine said, there are a few (I mean, like a handful) of places where you can forfeit the bonus & withdraw, but at most you are tied in to completing the WR.
