Which Casino Would You Choose for Fun (Free) Play?

    Hi

I had a search, but couldn't see this question posed before. Usually the questions are 'which is your favorite casino' or 'which is your favorite slot' and the answer is, naturally, most often influenced by peoples' past experience of winning.

However, I would love to know what your favorite casinos are for Free Play?

It's a different question, because winning is not the main thing when you play for free - it's all about the quality and entertainment you get from the games, the graphics, the sounds, the variety of games...

I'm thinking of when you want a slots session, rather than table games

    Cheers

99% of the time I play in most of them if it's Free just to try the new games out as they come out.
If it's just for Ha Ha's I stick with Rival Casino's
But most of my time I don't really do Free Mode because it's boring and you get nothing out of it.

It's a matter of software. Play at any casino offering the software you want to try. Server location can be a consideration though. Kahnawake, for example, seems to have regular dropouts, and a while back they were pretty consistently between 11am and 2pm, every day, although of varying severity.
Gibraltar had problems because there is only ONE monopoly supplier for connection there. Malta relies on undersea cables, but seems more reliable than the other two.

The other thing that might be fun is to open a fun account at a rogue, play for months on end, give them a phone number you never use (like that of a public call box). When they really start the desparate measures to get you to deposit, play the free chip and then never play again, and ignore all their emails (as they do ours when we win).

I have a Virgin Media COMPULSORY phone with the TV and Broadband. I don't need it as it costs far more to make calls than landline suppliers, but I have to PAY for it whether I have it or not.
The reason I NEVER receive all those annoying Virtual phonecalls is because I gave them this Virgin number, and I turned off the ringer on the handset
I have NOT given then a FALSE number, it is mine, it's just a spare that is never answered By putting the ringer back on, I can show that this "unused" number has been distributed MORE widely than my normal one, which is the opposite of what I would expect, UNLESS someone has SOLD this second number, and the ONLY places I have given it out to are rogue casinos, and maybe one rogue company who "needed it" - but I didn't want them to keep bothering me.
Casinos I play for real are always given my landline number, which has an answerphone for when I am away.

If I was just playing for fun, I would probably go for Grand Virtual software. As I really like the graphics and sound on these casinos. There seems to be a lot of games to choose from. They take up hardly any disc space, the games aren't downloaded in one chunk like with microgaming, the games are downloaded when you click to play them, which I prefer, my disc space is a precious commodity, and I worry about getting in trouble with my ISP for downloading too much data.

I have stopped playing this software for real money. As I was losing more money than I felt comfortable losing. The reason for this could have been: I never cashed out when I was ahead, because the nice games kept drawing me in and as a result I became hooked, and would be reluctant to withdraw my winnings, and eventually end up losing. I came to the conclusion, it was too dangerous for me to play in this casino for real money, so decided because I like it, to just play this software for fun without any financial risk...

I'm with you on that one!

Play Eureka! with your speakers on max - Excellent!

Another good one for free-play would be 3Dice - enjoy the great features on most of their high-variance slots without losing a fortune waiting for them to hit!
Also I think (?) you can enter free tournaments and win real cash!
(I know someone will correct me if that's wrong! )

Forgot about 3dice, definately another one I would play for fun. I think they do sometimes have free tournaments with real money prizes...

The only problem with playing for fun, is the frustration of hitting a big win... the thought of all the money you could have won if you had play for real.

But it works the other way as well, as it can be nice if you have a long losing streak because you know at the end of it, you haven't lost anything.

I like to try out new games in fun mode...but these days, I play Rival for fun, because that is all that is available to me as a Canadian.

Intercasino (cryptologic) has some cool games, especially the Marvel comics themed ones.

Free mode at any Rival is a pita....no autoplay at all, and after every 100 spins it asks you if you want to play for real money. And of course they took after Playtech in the fact that when you hit something big, you get another popup saying that you won $xxxx, but unfortunately you're playing for free and again asks you if you want to play for real money.

As far as MG casinos go, don't bother trying to play for free at (if I remember right) the VPL group. You get $1K, and when you run out, it's gone. If you click on the banking link, it loads and tells you that the cashier isn't setup right for your type of account (free) or some related bs.
Operators: If you don't know what Transparency means, then here you go.....now how about practicing it?

Transparency, as used in the humanities and in a social context more generally, implies openness, communication, and accountability. It is a metaphorical extension of the meaning a "transparent" object is one that can be seen through. ...

Personally, I really like Intercasino. I like the Marvel Slots. I also like RomeCasino's Roulette and Blackjack if I am playing for fun.

Thanks for the responses everyone, I really appreciate it and have even learned about a new casino that I'm going to try out

Of course, any more thoughts on the question are more than welcome...

    Cheers!
