I watched the movie Breaking Vegas yesterday, and I had the crazy idea of making an online gambling team.

Which Casino?
First off all, I think we should play at betvoyager.com casino, no zero roulette, min bet of just 0.01 and max bet of 1000, and the randomness is controlled by SHA-256 algorithm (numbers are pre-generated, and you get the checksum for them).

Which betting system?
For the betting system, I think we should use The Cancellation Betting System. I think it is a lot safer than martingale and better.
More info on it can be found here:
You do not have permission to view link Log in or register now.

Which Game?
I think betvoyagers no zero roulette would be the best game to play, because of the good betting limits.

How could this work?
The main idea of this is, that the "team" would have a big bankroll, and one person would be playing with the bankroll (it doesn't have to be me), and broadcasting live over the Internet. And the team would be able to vote on the next bet.
Any profits would be paid out according to the % that you contributed to the pot.
For example, the total pot is 1000, and you contributed 20, that means you own 0.02% of the pot. And lets say we cash out 2000, then you would receive 40.

How could you join the team?
By simply making a deposit into the pot via paypal or moneybookers. (We could add other payment options).

Who would manage the bankroll?
This hasn't been decided yet. (I think it would be best if it is a member with a good reputation here, I don't want it to be me. Because I don't want you guys to think that I am trying to scam you.)

Why do this?
Because with a bigger bankroll, we have a much better chance at beating the house. And I think it would a fun and interesting experiment.

So is anyone interested in joining this team?

Any input and feedback is welcome.

Just to make this clear, I DON'T want to be the person who manages the bankroll, or plays with it. This person should be someone voted by the team.

ok this is gonna sound dumb coming from me but are you a shill for Betvoyager? Most of your post are about them

an I think what you are wanting to do here is not on the up an up but hey what do I know

Cindy

Sorry bud, but it's ideas like yours that make it hard for LEGITIMATE players to actually get paid, and in a timely fashion.

At least you got one thing right.....the "crazy" part.

....especially if you're thinking that you can beat the (online) house at Roulette, of all games.

no, I am not a shill or affiliate of betvoyager in any way. But I do like their casino. But if the "team" decides to use a different casino, I would have no problem with that:thumbsup:

I don't understand what you are trying to say with that :o

How is this not legitimate?

....especially if you're thinking that you can beat the (online) house at Roulette, of all games.

there is no house edge at zero roulette

you cant pass money back an 4th from player to player

your plan in some ways sounds like chip dumping as a way to pay off players

Cindy

not at all, please read my first post again. One player from the team, will play with the whole bank roll. And that player will cashout the whole bankroll.

There is nothing not legitimate about this.:)

Sorry, mate, but I must agree with other posters, this idea doesn't make sence because of several reasons:
The main reason is trust. When you are in the Internet, where pepole can be completely anonymous, and where is a lot of cheating and spam, and scam, it's hard to believe the person you don't know anyting about, especcially when it comes to money. So your affair will be a simple fizzle, sorry. But in real life, with land based casino, it's more than possible. I know some people, who would be interested in, but you must know them face-to-face. If you are came from Internet - they won't even listen you...
And another reason - "psychology" thing :)
People just don't want to give money to someone who will gamble instaed of them :D

Sorry, jas, but your post made a little mad, because I cannot understand, why, when someone adds three or four threads in a week about 3Dice ot T.I.V. (I'm not trying to hurt anyone, it's just for example) - it's OK, it's normal!!!:mad::mad: But when manblue created threads about BetVoyager (which is at least very good casino) - you pointed on it and call it "shill"! Could you please explain this? Looking forward for your answer.

Exactly!!! On every page at least one thread about 3Dice, or T.I.V, but when it comes to a little known casino - it's a 'shill'? I think it's double standard!
And sorry, Cindy, I didn't know that you have posted it in a TIV thread about 'shill', I don't read this threads. Sorry again. But I was really mad :o

Sorry, I fail to see that anything that I posted is fraudulent.
My intentions are really not to scam anyone, and please let me know what I should have posted instead or what should be altered to make everything fair.

My only idea was, that a bunch of low rollers get together (make a team), and that someone who is trusted on that team would manage all the money, and place the bets. And that same person would have a live broadcast over the Internet so that the team members would be able to watch the games and make recommendations on the next bets.

Casinomeister, I would be honored to have you as the team leader. (the one who manages the bank roll and places all the bets, and eventually who pays out all the profits.) Please let me know what you think.:)

As soon as you mention teams or groups of players to sign up at a casino, then the casino needs to be involved as well. To not do this could risk your fellow team mates' accounts being closed. That's what I'm getting at. What you've mentioned already violates come of their t&c's I'm sure.

As for promoting betvoyager.com - they aren't in the Accredited Section, they're not even on the radar.

Lessons from this thread. I now know how Betvoyager earns money, people who think they can beat the game with their systems. Zero HA means that you dont have an edge either.

The only way to win in long run is to play when you have an edge. In other words when you play with a bonus with positive EV.

no teams or groups would be signing up at the casino. Only ONE person would play with the whole bankroll, and ONLY one person would cash out the whole bankroll. So for the casino, everything would be normal ;)

Maybe you have a good idea but you should of kept this one private with your close friends you play with. I for one would never get involved in any of this for the simple factor of reading this statement from our support team at cm.
Player did not get paid due to fraudulent GROUP ACTIVITY.

I can't understand why anyone here is giving Manblue's idea any credibility at all!

There's absolutely nothing wrong with it as far as I can see, and it would be a fun 'experiment' between a group of close friends on or off-line. But between strangers online? Fanciful nonsense!
No one with half a brain-cell is going to give someone else their money to gamble with - what is the point? What's the difference between someone playing for 10 people with a 2000 bankroll, or 10 individuals each playing with a 200 bankroll on Roulette with a 1c minimum?

Sorry, this is a non-starter.

KK

Player did not get paid due to fraudulent GROUP ACTIVITY.
It's not the same. GROUP ACTIVITY means that group of players would play with premeditation in order to win the money from casino.
What suggested manblue - is not "group activity". It's just like an investment.
Imagine that you have a group of 5 people. Four of them just give the money to 5th, and he/she play. 4 people just investors, the give money to 5th to play with. And 4 investors just decide where to place bets. Hope now it's more clear.

Only ONE person would play with the whole bankroll
Heres a better deal for anyone thinking of joining this so called group of players with handing money over to 1 player to "play" for them..

I got some real nice swampland in Florida that is ready to be built on and it's going fast! (UNDER) So hurry and send me your money and I will put down deposits for all of you on your portion of swampland...no guarantee though that it is NOT already underwater, but this could be the beginning of a great relationship in investing your funds! With me being the banker of course  Then you can have bragging rights of owning waterfront/under property! Woohoo~~~ Oh, and NO REFUNDS!

The idea would be that each individual would deposit much less than $200. More like 20-50.

And my idea was that it would be much easier to turn 2000 into a decent cash out than it would be to turn 20 into something. But the risk would still only be small for each individual:D

I don't know about you guys, but I will probably NEVER make a single 2000 deposit at any online casino...

I understand what he's saying and it would be fun IF you had some longtime friends to do it with. I see people pooling money in landbased and that's fine Manblue BUT...like the others said...You don't any of us here, infact, Im new and dont really know anyone and noone really knows you. I also see that your willing to have someone else hold money and pick the casino but what if the person you pick takes off with your money too?

I dont think your a scammer or a shill. I just think something like this is better off in a land based casino where you can cashout immediatley and everyone gets paid on the spot. I think your wasting your time trying to get people to join because I dont think there are going to be any takers

Good luck though

maybe fraudulent but certainly stupid. the movie you watched was about counting cards to level the playing field on a game that has a very small house edge. you are talking about using a "system" to try and beat a game that is the worst possible game to play. aside from picking the worst game you then advertise it on the internet. you will have better luck with a gun and a si mask....

Manblue, I have a suggestion for you.

Go round up 10 of your friends or family and get them to put into a pot for you (or one of your friends or family) to gamble wherever.

Trying to form a "team" in an online forum is simply going to raise the hackles of most online casinos - furthermore, they may call what you are doing team play even if you don't agree, and even if we don't agree.

Unless you can show me a really good reason to keep this thread open, I'm going to shut it down because it's clearly not serving its intended purpose.

Because with a bigger bankroll, we have a much better chance at beating the house. And I think it would a fun and interesting experiment.
:lolup::lolup::lolup::lolup::lolup::lolup::lolup::lolup:

i have 6 friends that will try it, and with you that makes 7

doc grumpy happy sleepy bashful sneezy and you being the 7th :D

Another slight problem you overlooked here. 100% Roulette, no House Edge. Thats fine, except when you come to transfer the money Paypal levies a 2.9% (I think) transaction fee. So you just got your house edge back :D

afaik, House will cover all commissions

lol, true. But I think the paypal or moneybookers fees would be the least of our worries in this team.
The only problem that I see with this "team" is that the bank roll manager might take off once he sees all the money in his account:rolleyes:, but that is why I suggested paypal for one of the deposit options to the bank roll manager because from my experience paypal has always given me back my money in a dispute. (2 disputes in the last 4 years)

But I am starting to feel like I am wasting my time with this idea, but if anyone is interested please reply here, and we will be able to slowly build up a team:)

manblue, wizardofodds doesnt have a winning system regarding online casinos. Its all about limiting losses. So much mis information flying around.

P.S. XXX dont count this as your cue to jump in with your usual babble

Well, it ain't going to happen here. You can recruit players on your own time, on your own website; you won't exploit this board for endeavors that could be considered fraudulent by any casino staff.
