I have now spoken in person to two Rival casino owners (at this week's ICE & CAP events) and they both assured me the USA is 100% safe, so I personally think your suspicions are way off the mark. At least, I sincerely hope so!

Since it wasn't so rushed on their part, then why did they wait until the last minute to inform Canadian players?
So now that its done, Rival needs to come clean with the real reason they pulled Canadians out and not some half-a$$ed, off the cuff excuse just to say they gave one.

I find it disturbing that not all Rivals I have played at have sent me notice. I'm not about to attempt to deposit in order to find out if they have banned deposits from Canadian Players. But there are still bonus offers in my cashiers.

Now i found these 2 emails that am in my junk mail i was looking for something most times i just send it all to delete. I noticed i just got one from simon also that was sitting in junk mail also.
At least playboy when they closed turned around and said hey here are your bunny points cash this in at intercasino and play. Now im getting flooded with playtechs asking me hey laura haven't seen you in awhile is there anything we can do for you. Ha yes there is but plse dont get me started on playtechs.

I don't think its a good idea to deposit even if it would work, they probably will refuse to pay if you deposit after Feb 1 and win.

Now DaVinci's Gold really pissed me off.
On Saturday i received this promotion
    Part One: Place your bet!
Place your bet on the team you think will win the Super Bowl this year!
Pittsburgh Steelers (100% Match Bonus Up to $500 Free!)
    Vs.
Arizona Cardinals (100% Match Bonus Up to $500 Free!)
If you choose the winning team, your account will be credited with $20 Free!
(Match promotions expire Feb.1st at 11.59pm. $20 Freebie will be credited to eligible accounts the following Monday.)

I "placed my bet" on Pittsburgh Steelers and deposited. Sure enough this morning i did not find $20. So i contacted support and this is what they said: "We're sorry but Canada is now restricted for promotions. After months of careful consideration based on professional opinion, our software provider, Rival, has asked us to cease the acceptance of Canada-based members. We have complied with this request. Rival has made this decision in order to protect its’ ability to continue offering a high quality, innovative product for use by licensees and subsequently user-end members. I do apologize for any inconveniences this move has caused our members."

Well, DaVinci's Gold never sent me any messages, so how the hell I even supposed to know???

Maybe look and find the rep from here xoxox as they state in their emails you have till the end of feb to finish playing. If this is the deal you took before feb 1 then they should honor this.

I am surprised that none of the Rivals reps have anything to say in their defense about this email mess. Since many of them from Canada, i guess they don't give much sh*t about us canadians.

Also, i wish i knew who is DaVinci's Gold rep here, the "I-Gaming Forum Reps" page was unavailable for a while....

I have to disagree, I know one of the rep's personally from this forum, and they do care, I am not sure they know 100% the whole reasoning behind the contraction and if so I am more than sure they have been told to keep it zipped, they sign there paychecks so I can understand that.

just to clarify, i had no intentions presenting this as reps fault, as far as I am aware, Rival Gaming is canadian based too, please correct me if I am wrong.... However i believe it was casinos' responsibility to send proper communication to their clients, what some of them did and some did not.

Also, by no means I am trying to complain here, my experience with Rivals casinos was not very long but mostly rewarding.
