Funeral, you may be right there.

I played an amount smaller than the OP today, but at much lower bets, and it was not a riot...didn't achieve even close to 2x playthrough.

I have the same thing happen at land based too, but I generally enjoy the outing more.

And if $40 is enough you from further online playing, you just might end up ahead of most of us

I'm still under 500 posts, do I still retain credibility?

People come here for help and opinions and knowledge and expect as such.

Ever wonder why the majority of the posts on here are from the same small circle of people......, if I were hobobiker I would not post again.

Now im sure if KasinoKing posted this (no offense), we would all express our concerns and sympathy, and cheer him on to his 274th consecutive winning month!
Posters like Trezz and Wingbig are right in that over such a small number of spins there is likely to be high variance although they may not necessarily have worded it way. Suppose you play a slot with one or two features, as long as you dont hit within your prescribed spins you get a paltry payout for your bankroll. This is inherent within the slot as much of the RTP is built within the feature which could pay a lot.

What most of us wanted to say is that there are far too few spins to warrant a serious whine. Most players with a bit of knowledge on how slots work will not consider it impossible for them to pay close to nothing after 50 spins or so. I remember playing $0.2 per spin at an RTG slot and didnt even play up to $27 from my $20 bankroll before I busted out. Nevertheless, I think we could try to word our posts more carefully next time to put the message accross more clearly although the substance itself wont be changed. By the same token, new posters should not consider themselves being challenged as we are all here to help.

    No offense taken!
(Though 274 is a slight exaggeration - my record was 26 consecutive months a few years back)

I agree with Hobo - he's not actually new at the forum & I remember him playing quite a lot (and whining quite a lot ) when he first joined - I don't think anyone should be telling him what to play or how to play.

I have got only one question; I can't make out that screenshot at all - which slot was he playing?
    Smile, it may never happen...

Chill, people. Mudslinging will get you nowhere.

Personally, 60 spins is too little for me to make a judgement on, though I'd probably have gotten off the slot by then.

    more patronising drivel ......
why when someone has a gripe at their results at certain casinos do a handfull of members always try to defend them by making personal comments on the posters experience or knowledge or suitability to gambling . ?? its a bit arse lickey if you ask me.

maybe i have a bit of knowledge of how slots work and a bit of experience as well .... if you look on the 32red board above at that one casino about 21, 000 plays this month so far. ( although i know its not big or clever)
and i still say that the result of that session was crap, and not random.
and well worthy of a good whinge.

and i actually started the day or session with £250.00 .... and only went on that slot with what was left ....£40. the rest went the same way ...not once did my balance go over the deposit amount ...in fact the whole 250 gave a return of about 67% .....which is complete shite, from a casino which is supposedly the best of the bunch every year. .....

and anyway its a forum ....so someones got to moan on it , otherwise it would all become a bit nicey nicey and boring

and personally i still dont play with my pets.

Well, what can I say? If you cant even take that little comment ie 50 spins, there is nothing more that I can add.

I empathise with you Hobobiker, even though I might not agree with the way you express it.

One thing you lost me on though when you said :

he made a comment which took it to a personal level and thats not fine.
...and then you quoted ChuChu and stated:

    more patronising drivel ......
Maybe your definition of personal is different to mine, but if someone told me I was talking 'patronising drivel' I would take it personally.

On the original subject, Ive had those kinds of sessions and probably worse, but I find it comes down to which slot you play and the variance etc. I reckon what stinks is that it was Double Magic which usually isnt too brutal.

    pissed off with it.
Just so we're all on the same page.

You start a thread with a loaded post & then bite mine and others heads off when we comment & or don't agree with you.

CasinoKidd tells you he can't view you playcheck cap. I couldn't either & I'm sure that's the same for other peeps too.

Instead you ignore CasinoKidd, which you know damn well know no one expect Superman can view your playcheck cap.

Sheesh...Now you tell the truth and we get the complete story.

Man you really have some nerve

Sounds like someone is a little upset that they dropped a couple of places in this months tourney.

My guess...This thread was fuelled by you playing today with £250 (not £40 as first stated in your first post).

You started this session today with £250 in a hope to re-claim some tourney spots on the leader board. However Lady luck was not at your side today and you blew it!

Instead of being a gentleman and accepting the fact that each time you gambling you run the risk of losing. You get all bent out of shape because instead of the 100 tourney comp you thought you'd bagged this month, it has turned into 50 & your hopping mad!

Of course your not going to add a clear playcheck because that would tell us that your playing at 32Red. And we all know that Pat, Ed and the crew at 32Red casino run a fair venue.

So...I'll reiterate my previous statement. However transposing the £40 with the TRUTH of what you started today's session with £250:

If your going to get this out of joint over losing £250 then gambling probably isn't your thing. Maybe you should look for another less risky pastime.

Edit: Or if that doesn't suit...Learn to manage your bankroll by play at a betting level that is going to increase your overall play time. Thus increasing you chances of bagging a decent win. At which point you can afford to increase your bet size!

Last warning - no more personal zings in here, next one will be given the opportunity to focus on their gambling without the distraction of the forums until next week.

Not really trying to push any sour feelings forward, but I just wanted to know why any remarks related to quitting gambling were even suggested.. All that was originally posted was that hobobiker had lost £40 and had a bad run.

Anyway.. in my opinion, it just seems like he was egged on by the few posts following his own. But, I guess I shouldn't be commenting on this because it will most likely only make things worse, just wanted to post what I got from the situation.

(Not trying to fan the flames)
