No, not a penny.

Made a further 6 deposits exclusively playing paigow. Total 23 hands, lost eleven and pushed 12. Lost $200. Most of the time, I played my hand the house way but on one of these the House Way was set wrongly again (thanks to RobRival this has still not been corrected) and I was robbed of $47.50 ie $50 less the commission. In case one wants to know the hand was Joker, A,2,3,4,6 and 7. My hand was set 6,7 as the Low Hand and a straight A-5 on the High Hand. This kind of error was relayed to Rob Rival and many Rival casinos on several occasions throughout last year and they still wont correct it probably in the hope that it wouldnt be noticed and that the players wont confront the casinos on this. Anyway, 23 hands without a winning hand and the one that was I was robbed although if I wasnt so passive I would have set it manually and won the hand.

That is just soooo bad.
Even I can't believe Rival haven't sorted this yet.

(For those who don't know PaiGow, Chuchu's hand should have been set 2,3,4,5(J),6 and A,7 = a much better chance of winning than A,2,3,4,5(J) and 6,7)

actech, it actually states it on the bonus coupon itself what games are not allowed and then also what games have reduced count against the wager requirement.

When you select House Way, does it automatically commit the hand? If so, I would definitely claim a refund. If it didn't commit the hand, and you needed to click further to confirm, then you're probably stuck.

I used to be an avid Pai Gow Poker player... in fact I started playing when the game was invented and introduced at Commerce Casino in California - and I won the only tournament I ever entered.

Setting the hands incorrectly is my pet peeve... one must allow for some variation of course because there are defensive and offensive methods for setting some hands... but this particular hand is set incorrectly, period - there are absolutely no circumstances under which this hand should be set in this manner.

I will make sure to mention this in London if I run into any of the Rival developers.

Would you believe it? This is the 3rd time I am seeking a refund from various Rivals. You are correct that I need to confirm the hand but sometimes I am doing something else at the same time and actually confirm without realsing this. The fact is, although it was confirmed, the house way was set incorrectly so that doesnt relieve them of the responsibility to set the House Way correctly which I had mentioned to Rob Rival and the other Rival casinos many times before. Frankly, the disadvantage was just too great if you set 6,7 for the low hand. You have no chance of winning and you would probably lose if you encountered a flush. I honestly think that they havent made any alterations in the hope that a novice would have used the house way and they would have benefitted from it. Otherwise, why the delay.

Although this is a 300% slots coupon it did state explicitly that paigow and a host of other games are allowed although it only counts one/tenth towards WR.

This is how it should be, when games are disallowed...the software should just not let you play them. This way a player does not play a restricted game in error, and find themselves in the unfortunate position of being denied winnings.
