I thought you guys would enjoy this. I opened an account with VIP Lounge casino a long time ago - before I knew what a rogue casino even was. Shortly after joining CM I closed my account with them, but occasionally they phone and leave messages. Today I actually caught the call, the conversation went something like this:

ring ring

Me: Hello
(pause)
Me: Helllooooo?
Phone person: uh yeah hi...is this....uhhh....(insert my name here)
Me: Speaking
Phone person: uhhh yeah hi...this is uh (unintelligible) from uhhh (mumble mumble)
Me: WHAT?
Phone person: (mumble mumble) from Vip Lounge casino
Me: Vip Lounge?
Phone person: Yes. uhhh we were noticing that you haven't played for awhile and we'd like to...
Me (interrupting): I don't have an account with VIP Lounge casino.
(pause)
Me: Hello?
Phone person: uuuuhhhh yeah we noticed that you haven't played....
Me (interrupting): I closed my account several years ago.
(pause)
Me: Hello?
Phone person: uhhh we notice you haven't played for awhile and uhhh we were wondering if there was a problem with the casino or uhhh if we could give you a bonus...
Me: Have you ever heard of Casinomeister?
(pause)
(pause)
Me: Hello? Have you ever heard of Casinomeister?
Phone person: .....uhhhhh..........no (liar!)
Me (laughing): ok well you should check it out, there's this community of people who share casino experiences and they list good and bad casinos.
(pause)
Me: Casinomeister says that VIP Lounge is not good, that's why I closed my account.
(pause)
Me: Hello?
Phone person: uhhhh so if we give you a bonus would you...
Me (interrupting): Not interested, thanks
Phone person: uhhh ok (sigh) have a nice day

How much you wanna bet they call again next month?

Normally once a month there's a recorded message from THE DiAngelo offering me bonuses to come and play yadda yadda yadda. I always thought oh too bad they didn't have a real person call while I'm actually here - I mean, not that I wasn't polite, I'd just really like to let them know that they're wasting time trying to get me to play there. I thought it was funny they claimed never to have heard of casinomeister....of course the telephone person may not - she's obviously a newbie, she really had trouble stringing sentences together and it was like she was reading from a script almost.

lol - did anyone ever see that 3 Stooges episode with the guy from the Punxatawney Pressure Cooker Company? That's who she reminded me of...!

There are definitely two of 'em who have heard that CM is the reason we are no longer playing there..............unless they have the memory of a fruit gnat (no offense to fruit gnats ) they should already know that! .
