    Bonus and Bonus abuse.

    Hi peeps.

What are the advantages of taking bonuses from casinos apart from extending your playtime? I'm the sort of person that if I deposit £50 and get it up to lets say £180, I cash out and go. With a bonus on your account you simply can't do that.

This gowild casino bonus abuse scenario puts me off getting bonuses. How many times have you met the wagering requirments everytime you have taken a bonus after a deposit? I have never managed to do it so I opt out of receiving first deposit bonuses. It simply removes the "bonus abuse" aspect from casinos argument when they don't want to pay up.

    About $900 profit per month.
(My average for the last 12 months).

    About 6 from every 10.
(That's counting Ladbrokes as one big monthly rather than 2 per day which it is in reality)

SUBs are the biggest problem, and I tend not to cash out from any SUB unless I have had an EXCEPTIONAL session. I do not do any of the fancy tactics that "bonus abusers" use, and I include a considerable portion of slots play. Very occasionally, I hit so big from a slot that I DO manage WR and cash out from the SUB.

I have only ever had winnings confiscated ONE, but this was, after all, Crystal Palace, and it was only from their "try Aztec Treasure with $30" that they PERSONALLY invited me to take.

I had comp points confiscated ONCE by Casino Rewards, who did a complete about turn when they discovered what my play WOULD have made them had I been NOT labelled an "abuser" before they had enough history to make a proper assessment.

I can safely play CR BECAUSE of this, this in no way means I recommend them to anyone with no history with them, they are pulling the same stunts today as they were then. The SPECIFICS of their stunt are as follows, and it is not unique to them.

    1) Player opens acount, takes SUB.

    2) Player is sent PERSONAL INVITE by the casino to take part in ANOTHER promo.

    3) Player actually takes up offer, and is then immediately labelled "bonus abuser" should they make even a small cash-out (mine was £50 - first ever from the group from £200 worth of deposits).

    4) I go to their competitor, and end up depositing north of half a MILLION over the next couple of years (withdrawing a fair bit too, not saying I LOST this much by a long way).

    5) Casino buys up my accounts from competitor, spots their misjudgement, and begs forgivness and showers me with tens of thousands worth of boni in a relatively short space of time, absolutely no question of "abuse" is raised when I take some of them, and even WIN from quite a few

    6) Competitor goes bust, and they buy ALL my accounts from them. Now they see the WHOLE picture, and see what they missed out on. I then get personal VIP host

Sorry - no prizes for guessing the identity of "competitor"

Great story. It shows again that Captain Kirk and Mr Spock would fail to find an intelligent life form in many managers' offices.

Thumbs up casino bonuses are great

To some people, an introductory offer of some free cash just isn't good enough, however. Casino bonuses allow you to work on different betting strategies and techniques, they give you additional funds to play with. It is entirely up to the gamers to either spend this free cash wisely!!!

    You have missed the boat.

BIG breaking story on the forum is that MICROGAMING casinos have a database of players like you, and can use this to CONFISCATE YOUR WINNINGS from one of these "betting strategies".

Previously, this has been thought the preserve of rogue casinos, but it seems even the CREAM of the online gambling industry have involved themselves in this. I have always considered Microgaming as the "gold standard" for the industry to follow, but this past year or so, they seem to want to join the roguish behaviours exhibited by the less savoury brands.

In effect, you are simply NOT allowed to win from your bonus, if you do, the casino may decide to confiscate your winnings. This applies mostly to new player bonuses, so the answer could be to not play at any new casinos, while this means new casinos have muck less chance of becoming successful, it is their tough luck for breaking the bond of trust that plays a huge part in this industry because of the regulatory vacuum in which much of it operates.

No it doesn't work like that anymore. When you get a bonus you are given ridiculous wagering requirements, a lot of the time, games with a low house edge like, roulette, blackjack, videopoker etc are excluded or given an extremely low weighting like 5% of your bet goes towards the wagering requirements. Which doesn't give you much fun in the amount of games you can play.

Imagine going to a B&M casino and told you can't leave with any money until you have wagered 5000 chips make that 50000 if you decide to play roulette or blackjack, and then have to wait maybe a week for them to check how you played before they let you cashout... maybe after that long wait they might turn round and say, sorry we didn't like the way you played, so we will keep your winnings and deposit, a big bouncer picks you up and throws you out of the door. You knock on the door for weeks on end but noone answers... several months later you hear the letterbox flap, and on your doormat is a flyer for said casino offering you a bonus if you come back...

Deciding to take a bonus is like trying to swim the pacific ocean. If by some miracle you make it. The managers scratching their heads in disbelief accuse players of cheating and even if you have adhered to the terms exactly, you can still be a bonus abuser apparently. Bonuses seem to have become a way to trap players and be used as an excuse not to pay them if they win....

Although have to say never experienced any problems cashing out of accredited casinos... even if their terms are a bit bizarre at times....
