Wage requirements for bonus still apply after losing money

    Hey,

recently I took a bonus at a casino on my first deposit. After winning some I lost all my money and bonus in a bad luck session. A week or so after that I deposited some money at this casino once again and played for a while. I made some profit and wanted to cash out. However this was denied due to the fact I still had to fulfill the wager for the bonus I received even though I lost all the money on this bonus including deposit. So once again I lost the money because of this stupid wage requirement still to fulfill.

Now my question.. I haven't had this before at about 5-10 other casino's I played earlier. Either I fulfilled the wager without loosing my money in the first place or I lost and the wager was gone when I made my next deposit. So is it normal that wage requirements still apply even after loosing your money?

I want to play at another casino at which I lost my first deposit and bonus. But off course I won't deposit there knowing that once again I still have to fulfill (a large) wage requirement!!

What are your experiences with this?

    Tom

To be honest, this casino just gave you a royal screw-over! Why on earth would you ever want to get back to a deal like that?

If that were me, I would have been pretty pissed even if it stated so in the T&C which I never read anyway since I expect the rules to be fair and straight forward without any mongoloid tactics!

This one - obviously a mongoloid rule - and if it's not then you must be one if you deposit there again!

Thumbs up tombee - and please mention the name of this casino so others may steer clear of that impressive deal they offer!

Reading my first post again I see it's not exactly clear.. Sorry for that.. I'm ashamed

I wasn't denied the whole pay out, but the BONUS amount. So the first time I lost my money and the bonus amount and second time they wanted to pay out, but minus the amount that I was rewarded as a bonus at the FIRST deposit.

So even though it was a bit greedy from me to play on to get the bonus amount (which isn't really a bonus anymore because I've lost it in the first place) it's still strange that even after losing all my money and bonus in the first place the bonus amount is still deducted from my pay out after my SECOND deposit WITHOUT A BONUS. So that's why I wanted to know if there are similar experiences, I've never had them..

The casino was one I thought to be good, and is good to go according to this site.. BODOG

Not many casinos have this rule, but some do, as you found out.

Everyone should remember the First Golden Rule for playing online casinos:-
Always, but ALWAYS read the T&C's before you deposit!

Whether anyone thinks their rules are fair or not is totally irrelevant - casinos can (and do) have any rules they want.
To deposit & play without reading the T&C's is just another gamble on top of playing the games.
If you don't read the T&C's first, don't go moaning about them afterwards!

Bodog is offering reload bonuses? When did they start that...??

I've only gotten their 10% 'cash-back' bonus (no WR, can even transfer it to the poker room) after I've withdrawn or went broke. I haven't played there in many many months, so....

Could you imagine going into a land based casino and before you play there you have to read T & C's and Rules and Cashout and Deposit Rules and then further read Bonus Coupon Rules and Playthru Requirements and Holdover Rules regarding Unfinished Bonus Playthru Requirements and on and on and on...hell they would go broke, all the customers would leave, hell half of them can't read anyways and the ones than can, don't or won't take the time to !!

Tom, if it is indeed Intercasino, you wager requirement drops off after three months.

After my first deposit, I e-mailed them declining there next bonus offer, because I had an outstanding wager requirement from my first deposit. They cancelled it.

When I had a second deposit without success, I just waited out the three months until that wagering requirement was removed.

Now personally, if I was running a casino, i would not DISCOURAGE players from depositing regularly, but as KK said, read their terms and conditions.

I know from painful personal experience that if you lose your deposit and bonus, the WR does not carry forward.
