Low rolling. What is the point?

I my opinion low rolling is a waste of time. If you have say $50 a week to spend on gambling. Why not use that amount to see if your gonna win big or nothing at all. Low rolling is like prolonging the agony. I would like to know in the first few minutes whether I've won or lost. It really irritates me when i see winning screenshots and they have it on minimum bet. With those kind of wins i wouldn't bother cashing out. What do you guys think?

I set myself 100 per week and bet no less than between 2.00-5.00 bets. That usually means i gamble once a week.

    Spoken like a true gambler.

Not everyone is in it just for the money. It's all relative. I've seen 600x wins on a minimum bet of .25, for example. Would they have gotten that hit if they were betting any higher in comparison to their bankroll? Probably not, because they would be broke before they hit that.

If you're going to blow through $50-100 at even $5 a spin, you're better off just writing a check to any charitable organization and not even playing, IMO.

To each his own. I like to spin so if I don't have much money then I just lowroll. I have won quite a bit of money just lowrolling along.

Everybody plays the way they like to.

Friday comes. Lay down $100. There are only 2 out comes. They are win or lose.
    If win = cashout
If lose enjoy the rest of the weekend and get back to work on monday.

It doesn't always happen in the first 5 minutes.....so to put it all out there right away is stupid in my opinion. Do you just want to throw money away? Don't play then if you hate it!

good question easy answer. for alot of people, self included, it is fun to play. i know i'm not alone when i say no amount of money won online or land based is gonna change my life. my buget is considerably bigger on land. more of a "lifestyle" experience maybe. i enjoy small play online(would be bigger if the proper companies were involved) but nothing crazy. even though i'm retired i have a pretty hectic life and some fairly large responsibilites. playing is my escape. real money is key though. even if it is small. kinda like betting your buddy 10 bucks on a golf hole. just 10 bucks but it makes it more fun than a "friendly" bet. as far as cashing out? i seldom do. i like to see how long i can play on a certain amount...
i consider myself a big "player" not a big "gambler". there is a big difference...

i like to high roll and low roll but prefer low rolling best, i did it today on a 45 cent bet, made me 180.00 on a bonus round, made some more on another bonus round and cashed out 375.00 off a 15.60 deposit, so to me its not agony, when you are enjoying yourself, may be a little time consuming but if your making money, who cares how you play......just my 45 cents worth.....laurie

I low roll because my budget is limited and I personally don't see the point in making a deposit and playing for 5 minutes. That's a damn expensive 5 minutes! Sure, the odd time you will get lucky and win something substantial, but that won't be the norm. Most of my $50 deposits last at least an hour, usually a LOT more, so even if I lose, I walk away knowing I at least got some entertainment value. It's a personal choice.

I don't really like seeing the screenshots at the huge bets for a few reasons - #1, they are 100% unattainable to me and #2, they make me worry about the poster as I have seen way too many people experience that "rush" and find the need for more and more of that feeling. Been there, won 5k and gambling has never been the same since. While I understand that not everyone has that problem, I suspect a few people around here do...

I have also had some pretty large wins low-rolling, a lot of the time on my last few cents. Never would have gotten that far betting larger amounts.

    *shrugs* to each their own!
