    Littlewoods Casino - New Software

I have received an Email telling me they have "new software".

I thought they just meant they were going at last to the new version following Intercasino.

Next, despite "doing" my special bonus last month and cashing out £1000 I have been booted FURTHER upstairs to the top flight VIP club.

Well, just now - I found the catch

    It really IS "NEW Software",

    It's Cassava (Oh Crap).

There are a couple of really EVIL terms and conditions which make the deal very one sided in the event of a dispute.

While they have the right to do all the usual things that many casinos do, they seek to wash their hands of ANY responsibility to the player should ANOTHER PLAYER have cheated and skewed the games, they do not even have an obligation to so much as ACT on such a complaint!!!!

    Why is this a problem,

    In a nutshell POKER

They could pull an "Absolute", and if players complain, they have the RIGHT to decline to investigate unless THEY feel they must.

They also have NUMEROUS ways to confisacte EVERYTHING in a player's account, beyond the usual narrow definitions of SERIOUS actions.

ROBOTS - penalty, confiscation of EVERYTHING!!!!

Crappy Internet Connection. If they deem that the player is deliberately creating disconnects (and how the hell do they REALLY know), they again confiscate EVERYTHING. Incidentally, how does this "cheat" the randomness of the games, other software has safeguards to prevent disconnects from messing up the games, and the old Cryptologic was the best of the bunch, it would actually TELL you about it when you next logged in, and let you complete, or show you exactly what happened.

    Dormant accounts - 10% MONTHLY after 6 months (formerly $2 or £2)

They are peddling VIP bonuses, but this just gets me thinking of the Lucky Ace disaster. I can just imagine existing Littlewoods players getting their 100% match to celebrate the change over, playing the way they used to on Littlewoods, and being screwed over by Cassava.

When any Littlewoods player gets their email - for goodness sake, READ THE NEW TERMS, they are SIGNIFICANTLY different from the old comfortable Cryptologic ones. Will they actually carry out the draconian measures they allow themselves? Who knows? but they certainly did with the Lucky Ace launch, and were screwing players earlier than that with their "Grief Club" casino that wasn't theirs, even though we and they knew damn well it was.

When I get my 100% VIP offer - I'll give it to my lawyer for dissection before (if?) I deposit I still have £30 in there to see if the software is any better than it used to be.

I got that e-mail too. How anyone could dump the fantastic Crypto software in favour of any other, let alone Cassava, defies belief!

Oh well, there goes another monthly (which I didn't have time to play much anyway! )

I am interested in the dormant accounts clause.
I assume the penalty charge can only be implemented if you have funds in this dormant account.

When I have received emails in the past telling me I was being charged for a dormant account that had no funds I simply explained that if any unauthorised paymnets were taken from my cards I would ask my Bank to begin a fraud investigation into their company.
I agree it does seem a strange switch of software, I wonder what the reasoning behind it is?

I was getting 100% to £250 at the "lower VIP" level, and ON TOP was eligible for the £25 reward. Blackjack was ALLOWED too

I played pretty aggressively, no grinding out each month, as that might have been my LAST £250 match

Cassava does not have the best of reputations (it did once, what happened). I am now in the higher VIP club (it seems), but I bet the terms for any bonuses will be "nasty". Each promotion is said to have it's own terms and conditions, and I do not know if Cassava have the wagering tracker that Cryptologic had, so it's back to the whim and accuracy of CS as to whether WR has been met.

I wonder WHY they moved, perhaps they got bought out and it is NOT LITTLEWOODS AT ALL, but 888 USING the name under license. Simon Dexter seems to me staying, but is he a real person anyway, or just a name used for whatever manager the casino has to give the impression of continuity.
This move seems to have come from nowhere, nothing was being said about it even a week ago, and it looks like I might be the first to mention it here.

Exactly as KK says... Why on earth would anyone dump the almost faultless Cryptologic in favour of anything else!? There must be some internal business logic that we're not privy to... Still, great news for Intercasino who I'm sure will be more than happy to pick up the slack.

I am fully with you vinylweatherman. Its rare for a casino to take a step backward when it comes to technology.

Crypto have a sloud structure, and I dont ever remeber them being tainted in the past, by any of their outfits, however 888 has had loads od complaints

Their bonus structure is so complicated, i got a headache after reading the first 2 lines, and you cant see how much you have wagered in the past either

their BJ tables are limited to 300, which is very low, and they have a very small selection of games, in conmparison to crypto

the banking is on a pop up web page, a little like Party cashier "used to be" before their recent upgrade, which is real shoddy.

I would love to know what their reasoning was!

I dont think I will be playing their either.

    More Lucky Ace parallells

Found this in their bonus policy:

Members that made a first deposit at 21.com prior to making a first deposit at Littlewoods Casino will not be eligible for the Welcome Bonus at Littlewoods Casino.
    http://www.littlewoodsgameon.com/bonus-policy.htm

Didn't Lucky Ace have the same clause? Maybe it's just a general Cassava clause, but why should any play on 21.com matter on the new Littlewoods software if they are in no way linked??
