Exclamation Barcelona - Questions and comments for industry folk

I'm heading out the door in less than an hour heading to Barcelona for the week.

I'm attending and speaking at both conferences EIG and CAP,

    http://www.gpwaconference.com/agenda...ndex.html#CEO1
    http://www.canaffcobootcamp.com/

I'lll be in touch with a hell of a lot of industry folk - everyone from software providers, legal experts, affiliate managers, casino operators, and perhaps a few roguish ones as well

Now's your chance to ask questions or make comments you'd like me to pass on. Post them here

One question I have always wondered about is why so little design input goes into the average affiliate site?

Point the RTG Reps in the direction of the "RTG Poll" HERE and ask them if they really think they are fooling us Casinomeister Members here that voted "Yes" in the poll, that we believe something has significantly changed with the way that "Their" software is playing this year as compared to previous years !!

How would you word it? "Excuse me Sir/Madam. Since the UIGEA started screwing you, did you decide to squeeze the players at every opportunity?"

Diamond Geezer, often good design comes with slow loading speeds. A balancing act is required. Flash designs and javascripts do terribly in search engines, although I agree, some casino sites are nothing more than banner farms.

Yea, that would definitely be a start there Gary, I do hope that Bryan takes this issue serious considering the number of forum members that believe it so !!

As far as I know there is still not One online Casino licensed by the UKGC with its servers based in the UK.
Sure tax is an issue but B&M Casinos make very nice profits with much larger overheads.

Surely someone is missing a trick here.
Can you imagine how a Casino and software could exploit the fact that they are the First/Only Casino to be fully regulated in the UK through proper marketing.
and best of all they will always be the first, the prestige and validity that would bring to a Casino and software must be very marketable both short and long term.
My question is why has it not happened yet and are there any plans in the future from One of the main software providers to makes this happen?

Why would a casino voluntarily pay 15% tax instead of 1% or less that they can pay in places like Gibraltar, Malta, or Alderney? As long as a large number of players are happy to sign up at dodgy RTGs based in Central America without reading the T&C just because they offer 1000% bonuses, there is no business case for moving to the UK.

a central database for the id you have to send into casino's so you dont have to send it each time you cash out from a casino,
something where all the casino's sign up to and also the players signs up to

when youve signed up with that central database your given a unique code/number
then when you put in for a cashout you just supply your number then the casino can cross check it against the database,

it would cut out all the problems and excuses re not payment for unclear or dodgy documents

just an idea that will need to be thought out in more detail
    I gave up gambling,
Now all i ever do is make mind bets,
You never bet any real money you only bet in your mind.
The results are fairly good, ive only lost my mind 5 times so far this month

I could not diagree with you more the Kudos and marketing opportunities would offset the tax burden and they could use that to market other Casinos that use the software that are not in the UK.
It is a million dollar idea waiting to happen, but I give it to them for free.
