But these things work! It's just like when the UK or Euro lottery is a mega roll-over - loads of people rush out & buy extra tickets.... Why FFS, WHY?

The 'thermometer' does not indicate the chances of winning at all.

BTW, does anyone know if these 'thermometers' are linked across all MG casinos - or independent to each?

I don't normally take much notice of them, but I did see the other day that the Cashapillar one (at Ladbrokes I think...?) had dropped from nearly the max to nearly the min, which, if what someone posted above is true, means someone hit the 3.82 billion to 1 jackpot!
I think they're independent. I've played at CR for real and All Slots in fun mode and they are diffferent. I don't think the CR ones work as they change way to fast and Reel Strike is always at 999 but at All Slots it's not. I've seen them drop and rise way too quickly to.

What's the top prize on Cashapillar? 6 million coins or something, doesn't 3.82 billion seem high for 6 million 2 cent coins ($120K).

We have $20 scratch tickets here that pay top prizes of 10$ million and $1 million and the odds are a fraction.

    top prize:
    $10,000,000 ($500,000/year/20years)
    $10,000,000 10(printed) odds:1 in 6,552,000

    second prize:
    $1,000,000 ($50,000/year/20years)
    $1,000,000 130(printed) odds:1 in 504,000

Prize structure is based on the sale of approximately 65,520,000 tickets.

The thing is, you'd have to figure out how cashapillar's wheels are weighted, and how many times the 'jackpot reel' comes around on each wheel....
Operators: If you don't know what Transparency means, then here you go.....now how about practicing it?

Transparency, as used in the humanities and in a social context more generally, implies openness, communication, and accountability. It is a metaphorical extension of the meaning a "transparent" object is one that can be seen through. ...

That always gets me when people rush out for tickets on a mega rollover as if just Few Million pounds wasn't worth the risk
Another ugly side to human nature, irrational greed.

If the Cashapillar jackpot was won I really, really, really want to see a screenshot
Also I would like to know just how much lettuce they had to feed to the Cashapillar before it turned into a Butterfly
