If you're playing at CasinoMeister accredited casinos, and are sticking to their T&C's (e.g. you are allowed to play from Israel, etc...) then I'm 99.99% sure you wont ever need a lawyer.

Stick to good casinos, and obey their rules & you should have no problems.

    Good luck!

Almost every casino will have a "Condition" that states you must be playing from a place where online gambling is legal, and most put the onus on the player to make that decision. That term is often there because a casino would be breaching either or both of their licence terms or the law itself by taking or paying out money from/to a person in that jurisdiction.

That said, if a casino accepts your money and allows you to play from an "illegal" jurisdiction, they shouldn't be able to hide behind the term when it comes to paying out. But, from what I understand, when it comes to paying out a lot depends on the mechanism and what the payment processor will/won't allow. A payment processor may allow a deposit, but not a charge back.

The problem you face is that the casino would probably legally be within their rights to simply refund your deposit, so you run the risk that that is the best you can hope for. The less reputable ones may not even do that, although I suspect most of those would be hiding behind this term to avoid paying out wins. They probably see every deposit from an illegal jurisdiction as a no-risk deposit...they can't lose. I'm talking disreputable operators here. The good ones will offer a solution.

So I think a lawyer may be called for, although I would usually try to work it out yourself first, then try a 3rd party arbitrator like Meister, but be prepared for the fact that you may have broken the law and there may be little that can be done.
