    Question Game installation problem

I am having problems installing the new Big Kahuna slot, it gets to 96% then stops and goes no further, does anyone have any suggestions?

I asked support but all I was told was to uninstall the full Casino then turn off all anti virus, spyware etc and do a new install. a 1 GB install for 1 game, I don't think so.

I have tried deleting the file that is created when the game installs and starting the installation from scratch but still get the same problem.

The other two games installed but not this one I just wish support would have more of a clue when it comes to things like this and not just give a stock answer like 'reinstall it all'

    What a surprise

Yet another MG screw-up. They once developed a "casino repair tool" that fixed such problems without the need to reinstall. What happened? (rhetorical) They rearranged the software and this tool became obsolete, and was never updated because they were so confident they had fixed the underlying problem, which is that the internal diagnositc and self-repair function does not always work
Fortunately, if you already have other WORKING MG casinos on the PC, reinstallation is no longer the massive chore it once was, as much of the 1Gig is now cached, and only about 50Mb is actually fetched from the installation server.
Before reinstalling, clean out the existing directory after uninstalling. It may also help to clear out the registry entries for that problem casino. Make sure that all the other MG casinos have a working copy of Big Kahuna.

Finally, reinstall, and you will barely have time for a cuppa, rather than the 4 course dinner & movie as before

    Back to port for unloading.

If you have another MG installed already, chances are when you reinstall it will find the games are located centrally and it will pick them up from there rather than download them all again. At least I think that's how they implemented it in a recent update.

Yes it definitely works like that now. When I download a new game for the first time it takes 5 - 10 minutes, but when I install it in a different MG casino it takes about 10 seconds.
Finally MG listened to what we've been asking for for years!!

The OP might be better off not downloading this game though - at first I thought it was really great - but then watching about 400 spins with no feature and a rapidly dwindling bankroll made me think again...
    Smile, it may never happen...

I haven't got another on on this machine as it is a work machine but if KK say's it isn't worth it then I'll take his word for it and not bother.

I'm enjoying Jester though so I'll stay with that.

Sad to say past few months i have found the new mg games disappointing i have found them nothing more then clones. A lot of them just seem like money eaters that lucky shot and bomber girls geesh those 2 had to be the worse they came up with at least for me in awhile. If you like the 9 line games then break the bank and big khauna is for you. But as a few of them said some of them arent worth playing. Even jesters got those free spins many times paid next to nothing. Think the mg casinos get us with the bonus rounds and free spin features on the new games. We keep playing to we hit them to see what they are all about. Then at best most times takes you many spins before seeing a feature.

I tried 4 times before I finally got Big Kahuna S&L to load and I still haven't got Double 0'Cash to load.

My take on these new games, play them when they first come out, like on the very day, then forget about them. For me they pay great the first day and suck the rest of the time.

I've left the installation running for about 4 hours now, it got up to 96% but it has slowly gone down and is now at 76%. If I leave it long enough it will uninstall itself.
