Unhappy Why are countries banned from playing

I just cant fig out why there are so many countries banned from playing.
I cant see it being the software as i see so many unlucky folks in the usa that cant play mg casinos but a handful accept usa players. So i dont get it is it a matter of paying us or way of us getting funds to them. Im cdn so I have a few more choices then usa but a game rep would be nice to hear from on this issue.

Many online-casinos ban players from some countries because players from this countries register and play only for SUP bonuses, complete WR, cashout and never come back, i.e. "abuse" casinos.

I must say I am guilty of doing that. I think that before the UIGEA I must have signed up at all the casinos I could find. Looking back, it really didn't matter anyway because most of them were rogue. But the ones I liked I stayed with.

Like Danish people can't play or if they do, extreme playthroughs. What's up with that? Percentage wise I am sure there are more bonus abusers in the US than Denmark, size of country and all. Doesn't make sense to me. Does it have something to do with the casinos inability to track IP address in these countries allowing people to open several accounts?

How do casinos like Red Flush come up with the bizarre list they have excluded?

    Hi Lauram,

Countries are banned fron online casinos for numerous reasons:

    1. Potential fraud i.e. stolen / dodgy credit cards which ties into chargebacks

expect most African / some Asian / some eastern European countires to be blocked.

    2. Bonus abusers - complete WR and cash out bonus without risking own funds - generally Isreal, Denmark, Ukraine are the worst abusers in the past, and their name has stuck.

    3. Country legislation - USA / Turkey etc most casinos do not want to take the risk of going to court / jail.

    4. Malta LGA - any gaming companies regulated by Malta LGA not allowed to take custom from people residing in Malta.

    Regards,

    Dazzla

I do understand the idea behind bonus abuse. But come on casinos if you want me to shop a sears and not walmart then sears best be able to offer me a better deal then walmart. Its the same with casinos why not offer player first time
deposits if you hit and no probs getting money i know i would redeposit and isnt this is what its all about, casinos trying to get new players to join and stay with them so they can count on our deposits. This if you use a bonus and we do offer second one you use it and hit and cash out now your locked out for bonus abuse is absurd. And who did fig out that this or that country uses more bonuses then other countries someone plse tell me these casinos couldnt use that time to fig out a way to make customers happy rather then doing a survey on who uses more bonuses. And yes when i open up my first account with a casino i like to use their first bonus play times longer and you get to see how games run without a huge deposit with them.

The whole bonus "abuse" thing is nothing but utter bs.
Please tell me, in what way a player who takes the casinos bonus offer, play it 100% by THEIR rules, is being abusive ??? And how can they claim that you're NEVER comming back ? Never is a very long time ... especially if you're looking into the future.
This is nothing but a (BAD) excuse for not paying winners.
What their T&C's should really say: You have to keep playing untill you loose, or you're no longer welcome!
What I would really like to know is, how much MORE than THEIR rules say, do you have to play, before you're no longer abusing ? ... just till you loose your FIRST deposit, and bonus, or do you have to deposit and loose again, before you're acceptable ?
Some casinos even set up different WR's for danish and I've seen for British players as well....people from those 2 countries must really be very very smart, or extremely lucky/abusive.
Thank God there are still some smarter casino people around, who appreciate their players, whereever they happen to live.

Just to chime in and say that many casinos and software providers exclude Hong Kong because they think online gambling is prohibited by the Government. The real reason is that they want to protect the monopoly of the Hong Kong Jockey Club which operates horse-racing and take soccer bets. They dont care a damn about online gambling (except for sportbooks). But then Playtech and many casinos who use other software ban us. Oh well, the most I miss is 32RED and the Betfred.

32Red! Ahhh! what memories I have of playing there! What a day I had.. a low-roller ending up with a balance of 14K, and receiving the winnings in record time. Plus a special congratulations from "the man" himself...Ed Ware. You guys are lucky if you can play there! That's all I know!
