Well of course everyone should always read the T&C's first - but you know that.
What game(s) were you playing? Even I find it hard to clear their WR on their slots - especially the new high-variance ones Elvis & Wolf. I used to use Wan Doy Pairs Poker for most of the WR, but they pulled that game about a month ago... ![]() The best bet is apparently Video Poker, but I just can't get into that game at all, so I would have to go for stud or 3-card poker instead. In your position I would say it's not worth chasing your losses, though if you don't you may as well never play there again. (There would be no point waiting for this bonus to expire & then claiming a new one since on this one you have already done a large chunk of the WR, so it would be better to carry on).

The Virgin bonus has 20xB wagering with video poker allowed. That's a quality sign-up bonus. If you haven't seen such a "bad bonus" before, then you haven't looked at many sign-up bonuses. Perhaps the problem is that the bonus is post-wager. You don't get the bonus until after you have completed the wagering; while with standard bonuses you get the bonus, and then you complete wagering.

Pretty much all Wagerworks casinos credit the bonus after the initial wagering is complete, as do one or two of the Cryptos. It makes it more of a "loyalty" gift than a signup bonus but the idea is to remove all potential for bonus abuse. Of course once credited, it does become immediately cashable. Anoher "advantage" I guess is if you win on your deposits, at least you're not tied in to WR before you can withdraw, so it's not a "trap" like many bonuses either, and as KK says, in this day and age, 20x on a variety of games isn't too bad.
One other thing. If you deposited €100 and lost that before the bonus gets credited, you would have lost the initial €50 + the bonus anyway

for these kind i usually deposit more than i need to for the max bonus, in hopes that i won't bust and have to redeposit. plus with a bigger stack you can still grind low-ish bets and just go after a modest win in addition to the bonus that will be added. in some cases it is likely allowed to just withdraw and forget about the bonus if you get a lucky run off the bat, but even if not then you just bet the minimum to retain as much of your winnings as possible to meet playthrough and still get the bonus as well in that case.
and sometimes they beat you up. when i did blue squares i had put over 150 pounds into it and kept busting. but by that point of course you have to keep chasing to recoup the bonus money. which i then of course spun back trying to get back my losses. it's clearly not great for the player, but it's still fair for both and they can't dispute that you earned the bonus without abusing it, even if you do bet big then grind, or deposit like a grand and martingale (not recommended).

I wanted try Cleopatra II, but found the new slot "Vegas, baby" so I decided to try it...bad decision
![]() I think I'll give the last try today (directly to "Cleopatra II" this time)

Be very, very careful on Cleo II - very high variance. Cleo I is lower variance if that's of any help. Give "50,000 Pyramid" or "Captain Quid's Treasure" a go too - low/medium variance, similar to each other, and fun IMO.

I signed up with virgin, made the same mistake. This is NOT a sign up bonus as Simmo has pointed it but more of loyalty bonus. I closed my account and Virgin will never receive another penny from me.

thanks for the warning! I didn't even know that there were bonuses like that out there. Seems quite strange.
