Well I think 'for income' means it's something you depend on for day-to-day living, so I voted 'Pocket Change'. But I guess that depends on how big your pockets are because my average monthly profit for the last 24 months is $657/month.

If it had been multi-choice I would have had to vote "I'm addicted" as well...

Can't say that I play for income. When I lose (mostly), it's not entertainment. So I'm going to say 'Addictive'. If I wasn't addicted, I would certainly not keep pounding sand down the rathole and losing my money.

    Most of the above

Bored & something to do, addicted, but less physically harmful than some I've had in the past. Extreme optimism might have been a choice for me. But I pretty much expect to lose, and I expect to be entertained for my $$.

Smarter play might make me lose less. But I will lose and am prepared to accept that. The occasional big win is a big plus, & usually I acquire something material with it, & just sink part back into play.

I could have nicer furniture (but my new mattress is a dream), and more slipcovers, & more meals out (except for the part where leaving my house is hard). Coordinated glasses & fine crystal. The odd Amarone instead of a Merlot or Pinot Noir.

Live with the decisions you make, take pleasure in them, or make different decisions. You asked us to expand Jock.

Have you seen what's on the tube tonight? Sucks more than gambling.

    Why I gamble

I gamble because I enjoy it, and when I do gamble it is to try to win extra money. Although, most of the time I lose.

KK, does that monthly figure include earnings as an affiliate? Just curious. If that is from straight gambling, you are either the luckiest guy around or I need to know your secret!

If I had to guess it would be patience, patience and patience. He takes out bonuses he believes will leave him in the black when WRs are finished and he focusses himself in normally grinding the WRs out. He isnt frustrated by occasional losses as these are balanced by his other wins. Furthermore, he simply moves on when some slots he is playing doesnt pay well or wont give a feature in a couple of hundred spins. That's what I think of KK. Ah yes, one more thing, he doesnt chase a single big win just for gloating and concentrates on stringing smaller wins regularly.

    Oh, and discipline, discipline discipline.

    Both of which I lack.

But not so badly it hurts my life.

Not how I make my "pocket change" but how I spend it.
