Question for slot players I see the question has been asked about where you are playing and why.

ie. latest slots high and low variance ect ect

I would like to know what slot and why you play a favourite slots.

Is it because you like the win feature the amount of free spins you get within the feature, or is it the amount of good runs you have had on a said slot

Reason I ask is. with RNG and a screen the basically is there to amuse you and the fact of the matter is split mille second of hitting spin or not will determine a win

I am there to be entertained, and a big factor for me is the sound. I like reels that slow after the second bonus symbol, to increase anticipation, and bonuses that give me the illusion of choice by picking a box, door, chest or otherwise to determine my number of spins or my bonus prize. Random bonuses, or a chance to hit a feature on the last wheel are attractive too. My love affair with Mega Moolah is at least in part due to the music, even though I know my chances for modest wins are not as good on a progressive.

My decision on which casino is largely determined by either past experience or the experience of other players in actually getting paid, and that my preferred deposit/withdrawal methods are supported.

Hope that is the kind of feedback you wanted.

ACK! Sound! I HATE anything that forces sound on me. I guess that's because I always listen to the radio when I'm at the computer. I played one casino that took me like 15 minutes to figure out how to turn off the sound. I was almost ready to uninstall right then!

I hate any game or person that forces me to do anything. There are some games that I like for other reasons that I mute the sound on and play looped tracks online. And if I have to turn my sound off rather than just mute the software and play what I want to hear, that is a turnoff.

Not everybody looks for the same things, and it is a big world, ianuk wants different opinions.

I want different opinions and experiences. CM forum is a great site, and folks are very helpful. OP was right to ask here. We are not all the same or look for the same features. But we are all looking for honest casinos that pay when we (occasionally) win.

Fortune Falls is my fave at the mo. And I listen to di.fm all day too and the sounds on FF blend in quite nicely with the chillout stuff :D

Second at the mo is Cashapilla, third Cleopatra. But I always end up at Thunderstruck. Always have, always will

I'm the opposite! Yeah some slots have really crap sounds - especially the Microgaming ones where the designers got lazy & just kept the extremely irritating lobby background rattle. But others are AWESOME and I like to put my headphones on & crank it up to No.10!
Best ones for awesome sounds are The Osbournes, Eureka! (GV), Thunderstruck (of course!) and best on the net, it has to be; Tomb Raider - Secret of the Sword... it's just like being at the cinema! :notworthy

As per the other thread, hard to have just 1 favorite slot, but I guess it would have to be The Osbournes.

My favourite slot tends to be the one I won big on most recently, sadly, Munchkins has been a real let down for the last few months, so much so, that I am thinking of getting a new avatar:D

Sounds are also important, especially at first as I am more likely to play a crappy new slot with great sounds for longer than one with poor sounds.

The lobby rattle is annoying, and should be confined to the lobby, not the games. I normally turn it off within game options.

It might be worth casinos looking into supporting users plugging in their own sounds in place of default lobby and game background sounds. I once found this option on SportingOdds (Boss Media), but have found that this option has been taken away in the latest version of Boss software.

3Dice - how about it? - user defined sound options, such as playing tracks in sequence, or at random, from a user defined music folder (MP3, WAV, etc). This is what the old Boss media software supported.

It CAN be done with other casino software, but only crudely, and by substituting standard game sound files with user defined ones, messy, and only for computer "nerds".

I agree completly. Slots are all about the entertainment. Playing without the sound takes away from the fun.

I'm a music addict, so when it comes to slots I would rather play a game with good sound rather than a game with good graphics.

The 2 best slots for sound I have played are Mega Moolah (During Free Spins) & The Osbournes.

If you wanna make things really fun try smoking a joint and then stick your headphones on with the volume to the max..... It is the most fun ever!!!!! :D:D:D and what makes it even more fun is that the bet doesn't matter, you can bet 20p a spin or 2 a spin, doesn't matter cos its so much fun either way ;)

Since slots are so expencive to play, i've learned to absorb ever part of the entertaiment they give. lol

I changed the mp3 for the free spins music in Dolphins Tale. I changed it to "Dire Straits - Money For Nothing" :D but when I finally hit the free spins it didn't play

I still have this one available, if you're interested...?
